Safra kesesi ve kanalı ameliyatımı gerçekleştirdi kendisi. Sürecin başından beri yaklaşımı güven vericiydi. Bu nedenle hiç bir zaman ameliyat ve iyileşme süreci ile endişe duymadım, strese girmedim. Kıvanç Hocamın sayesinde süreci çok rahat ve kolay atlattım. Kendisine ve bana her konuda destek olan ekibine çok teşekkür ediyorum.
Uzun zamandır midemdeki yanma ve ağrılar nedeniyle birçok doktora gitmek zorunda kaldım. Ne yazık ki, bu süreçte hem gereksiz yere zaman kaybettim hem de ciddi şekilde acı çektim. Yapılan sayısız tahlil ve muayeneye rağmen, kimse şikayetlerimin gerçek kaynağını bulamadı. Ağrılarımın bir türlü dinmediğini defalarca belirtmeme rağmen, gittiğim doktorlar ya ilgisiz davrandılar ya da adeta beni suçlayarak terslediler. Bu yaşadıklarım, hem fiziksel hem de psikolojik anlamda beni oldukça yıprattı.
Tüm bu olumsuz deneyimlerin ardından, bir arkadaşımın tavsiyesiyle Kıvanç Hoca ile tanıştım. İlk randevumuzda, daha hikayemi dinlerken gösterdiği dikkat ve özen, beni doğru bir yerde olduğuma ikna etti. Daha önce hiçbir doktorun aklına gelmeyen bir noktaya değinerek, safra kesemden şüphelendiğini söyledi. Gerekli tetkikleri yaptığında, safra kesemin tamamen taşla dolu olduğunu tespit etti. Bunu o kadar net, sakin ve açıklayıcı bir şekilde anlattı ki, diğer doktorların bunu nasıl fark edemediklerini hala anlamış değilim.
Ameliyat konusundaki çekincelerimi ve endişelerimi dile getirdiğimde, inanılmaz bir sabır ve anlayışla tüm sorularımı yanıtladı. Her şeyin adım adım nasıl ilerleyeceğini tane tane açıkladı. Kendisinin bu yaklaşımı, üzerimdeki endişe bulutlarını dağıtarak bana güven verdi. Ve nihayet ameliyat günü geldi. Bu süreçte gösterdiği özveriyi tarif etmek gerçekten zor. Ameliyat sonrası dönemde, neredeyse hemşirelerden çok Kıvanç Hoca’yı gördüm diye hatırlıyorum. Her ziyaretinde, iyileşme sürecimi yakından takip etti, aklıma takılan her soruya sabırla cevap verdi ve hiçbir ayrıntıyı atlamadan kontrollerimi gerçekleştirdi.
Şimdi, ameliyatımın ardından mükemmel bir iyilik haline kavuşmuş durumdayım. Adeta yeniden doğmuş gibiyim. Yıllarca çektiğim ağrılar ve sıkıntılar artık yok. Kıvanç Hoca’nın bilgisi, tecrübesi, samimiyeti ve hastasına olan ilgisi sayesinde bugün bu sağlıklı halime kavuşabildim. Kendisine minnettarım. İyi ki yollarımız kesişmiş.
