prof. Dr. Orhan Gazi Yiğitbaşı was born in 1965 in İzmir. He graduated from Bornova Yavuz Selim Primary School between 1971 and 1976, Bornova Yavuz Selim Primary School between 1971 and 1976, Bornova Suphi Koyuncuoğlu Secondary School from 1979 to 1982, and İzmir Atatürk High School between 1979 and 1982. Between 1982 and 1988, he studied medicine at Ege University Faculty of Medicine. Between 1989 and 1993, he worked as a Research Assistant at Erciyes University, Faculty of Medicine, ENT Department.
