A huge thank you to Prof. Dr Mehmet Tahir Oruç and his amazing medical team for the outstanding 24/7 level of care I received before, during and after my sleeve gastrectomy. Prof.Dr Tahir Oruç is a genuine professional and a master in his field. I did SO much research verifying all of his certificates and credentials and I am eternally grateful to have had such an experienced surgeon and lovely man performing my sleeve gastrectomy. I’m only 2.5 weeks post-op and I have nearly lost 2 stone (12 kg) and more importantly I feel fantastic, no pain, no gas, no complications, my acid reflux is cured and my x3 tiny 1-2 inch scars healing perfectly. Both the surgeon and Afef the coordinator are incredible and are still on hand 24/7 for me if I have any questions. Thank you for giving me a new start in life!
So I had the gastric sleeve operation in June last year by Dr Mehmet and his team, were do I start first class, from start to finish everything was perfect the staff were unbelievable, the hospital was immaculate clean the checks and tests the give you before even thinking about the surgery was surreal, the doctor and his assist were constantly checking to see how everything was, I was sceptical of going to another country and getting it done but am I glad I done it since June I'm down over 9st it's changed my life for the better. Highly recommended if your thinking about it do it and definitely with this doctor and his team behind him, again thanks for everything you done for me.

Had gastric sleeve on 11.3.24 with Prof/Dr Mehmet Tahir Oruc and just had to write this review to thank him and his brilliant team including Afef for a very valuable time- before, during and after surgery. The nursing staff was great too, hospital stay was 10/10 on cleansiness/attentiveness and professionalism. Would defo recommend.

The medical care is very good here. I have the operation 8 days ago. I stayed 5 nights in the hospital and am now in an apartment not far away for next week. I did not feel comfortable flying back straight away but a lot of people do fly on 4th day. My airline (jet2) does not let anyone fly until 10 days after an operation which I was unaware of so good I booked longer. I am now feeling very good indeed and doing all the things they told me to do. Dr. Mehmet did the op and came every day 1 or 2 times to check if I had questions. The nurses are very sweet and checked on me all the time. Although they spoke little English there are often interpreters around and it was not a problem. I am very pleased with the experience overall and would recommend. If you take a companion although they bring hospital food for them there is also a cafeteria in the hospital and lots of shops just outside the hospital.
