From the moment I walked in, I felt the clinic valued appearance over competence. I had made an appointment over email, so they had 6 weeks of opportunity to give information, but they never informed me they needed my passport. Then they asked to use their personal phone to take a picture of my passport. I gave them a picture of an expired paper, but they didn't seem to notice. She competed a form marking for me that I didn't have hypertension, diabetes, and wasn't pregnant without asking, but she did ask if I'd ever visited a dentist before in my life. The cleaning was routine lasting less than 30 minutes and the worst polishing experience I've ever had as she refused to let me rinse before polishing and ran the polishing head around the upper and lower teeth in a single motion without stopping to polish any individual teeth. They all seemed to try to talk in baby voices despite speaking English as an additional language while wearing masks. Maybe they think it's soothing, but I found asking them to repeat themselves multiple times very frustrating. Then they charged me 30% more than advertised with no explanation.

I visited this dental clinic today for a cleaning and wanted to share my experience.
Upon arrival, there were two receptionists. One greeted us warmly, while the other receptionist seemed disengaged and unhelpful.
After initially sitting near the friendly receptionist, I was asked to move to another chair in front of the other unfriendly staff.
Since she was being unaccommodating, I moved to the sofa away from her.
When I did, I was met with a loud and somewhat scolding remark about needing to finish my registration. Her tone was unprofessional, changed her voice to a louder one to emphasize her point.
Additionally, when we were instructed to use the blood pressure machine, the same receptionist gave the instructions in a curt and unpleasant manner. It felt as though my presence was a bother.
I understand that everyone has bad days, but I do think that if a staff member is struggling with their mood or having a difficult time, it might be better for them to take a day off rather than let that affect their interactions with patients.
I hope the clinic addresses this and provides better training on customer service, as the other receptionist was much more professional and kind. Unfortunately, this experience has made me hesitant about returning.
Since the staff doesn't wear name badges, the rude staff member was the one with light blonde hair color, an overweight build, and a slightly protruding belly.

During a work conference in Chiang Mai, I visited Kitcha Dental Clinic for a tooth extraction and did some fillings as well. The clinic had modern equipment. I misplaced my receipts after returning to Sydney Australia, so I requested copies for insurance claim and the clinic promptly sent them to me. Outstanding service. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

I've had an emergency with my "crown" so I just walked in, the receptionist registered me immediately and offered me an appointment within 1.5 hour. The doctor was very kind and professional. He even X-rayed me after the procedure to make sure that the crown is attached properly. Thank you!

I came over from New Zealand to see the periodontist for severe periodontal disease.
I had a quote and x rays already with my local dentist which was sent to Kitcha in advance of booking in.
I was very happy with communication prior to my booking, and when I arrived all went really well over the 2 appointments I had to get the work done.
I was very worried and nervous about the procedure but it was seamless and professional.
I ended up spending half of what it could cost me at home to get done.
I am writing this 6mnths after having the work done as I wanted to check in with my local dentist on the quality of the work done. He said the work was fantastic and achieved what we needed

I recently had a tooth extraction done by Dr. Jindarut Malakul Na Ayutthaya, and she was absolutely fantastic—skilled, calm, and made the whole process so easy. A huge thanks to her dental assistant, Ms. Tanyaporn Mounkaew, too, for her amazing work and support during the procedure. They turned what could’ve been a hassle into a smooth experience, especially since I just wanted to get rid of a annoying spot.
The reception team deserves a shoutout as well—they’re beautiful inside and out, super professional, well-spoken, and create such a welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. Everyone here clearly cares about what they do, and it shows. I’d definitely recommend Kitcha Dental Clinic to anyone needing dental work—top-notch service all around!

As a Canadian I was skeptical about having dental work performed outside of Canada -- Thailand in this case. Prior to my visit I'd contacted several dental offices and then selected Kitcha Dental Clinic after visiting the clinic and meeting Dr. Pawak Tungrthangthum. Following a series of x-rays and a review of the estimate and timeframe with Dr. Tungthangthum, I agreed to proceed with the following: crowns and a bridge on the upper jaw; crowns and a bridge on the lower jaw; 13 porcelain veneers on select top and bottom teeth; and a retainer and teeth guard.
