El doctor Alfonso Ortiz y su equipo de hematología me han tratado y curado un Linfoma no Hodgkin en seis meses, no tengo suficientes palabras de agradecimiento.
También mencionar al equipo de enfermeros de la planta de oncología que me llevo en el corazón, increíblemente resolutivos, atentos y cariñosos.
Te conducirá a tu habitación desde la recepción Ángel, un caballero simpático y educado.
Habitaciones cómodas, amplias y siempre limpias e impecables (por Marisol y su compañera de limpieza)
Encantadoras y amables auxiliares de enfermería.
Celadores que te llevan con cuidado de un lado al otro del hospital. Un saludo a mi querido Catalino.
Muy satisfecha con el equipo de cirugía vascular que me colocó el PICC, que no sólo hicieron bien su trabajo sino que me explicaron el procedimiento con detalle y me daban la mano para transmitirme calma.
A MEJORAR:
Las urgencias son terribles, los enfermos oncológicos quedan desatendidos y apretados en una salita alejada del control de enfermeras. No hay médicos especialistas. El mismo que atiende a los enfermos oncológicos también atiende una gastroenteritis o una fractura de fémur. En una ocasión una doctora quiso hacerme un PET TAC después de acudir con dolor abdominal y salir alteradas las defensas en la analítica. Le dije que me estaba inyectando para subir las defensas y me negué a hacerme el PET TAC. Gracias a Dios sólo era estreñimiento por la quimioterapia. DEBERÍA HABER UN ONCÓLOGO DE URGENCIAS.
La comida durante los 7 ingresos deja muchísimo que desear. Las verduras siempre hervidas, jamás ponen patatas fritas, los guisos insípidos, la tortilla de patatas suele estar dura y seca, la carne es a menudo un trozo seco y duro con puré por encima en lugar de salsas... De verdad: todos los días malísimo.

Hay experiencias que marcan la vida, y cuando se trata de la salud de un ser querido, cada detalle cuenta. Hoy quiero compartir la nuestra porque creo que es fundamental reconocer el trabajo excepcional cuando se da, y más aún en un hospital.
Desde el primer minuto en HM Sanchinarro, supe que habíamos tomado la mejor decisión. Mi madre ingresó en urgencias con un cáncer extremadamente complicado, un diagnóstico difícil que requería no solo conocimiento médico, sino también humanidad, paciencia y entrega. Y en este hospital encontramos todo eso y más.
El equipo de Hematología es, sin lugar a dudas, de los mejores que existen. Desde el principio, nos hicieron sentir que estábamos en las mejores manos. No tengo palabras suficientes para agradecer al Dr. Penedo su profesionalidad, cercanía y sabiduría en el tratamiento de mi madre. Su dedicación es algo que no he visto jamás en otro médico. Si pudiera darle una medalla, lo haría sin dudarlo.
Las enfermeras y auxiliares de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Oncológicos (CIOC) son simplemente extraordinarias. En más de un mes de ingreso, cada una de ellas nos trató con cariño, respeto y una profesionalidad impecable. Ver su dedicación, su empatía y su amor por su trabajo en momentos tan difíciles ha sido conmovedor.
El Dr. Villanueva, con su capacidad para transmitir información de manera clara y su manera de cuidarnos, ha sido un pilar fundamental en este proceso. No sé qué habríamos hecho sin él.
Y sí, hasta la comida merece una mención especial. Pasamos muchas semanas en el hospital y, contra todo pronóstico, la calidad del menú fue excepcional. Una alimentación equilibrada, opciones variadas y un equipo de camareros y personal de cafetería siempre amable y atento. De verdad la comida está buenísima. Un detalle que, en medio de una situación tan complicada, hace la diferencia.
No puedo más que decir GRACIAS. Gracias a cada médico, enfermero, auxiliar y profesional que nos ha acompañado. Las chicas de limpieza. Todos Gracias por salvar la vida de mi madre. Gracias por el trato humano, la paciencia y el cariño con el que han hecho su trabajo.
Si alguna vez alguien duda a qué hospital acudir en un momento crítico, yo lo tengo claro: HM Sanchinarro es el lugar en el que confiaría una y mil veces.
Enhorabuena a quienes han seleccionado y formado a este equipo, porque han logrado algo que pocos hospitales consiguen: combinar excelencia médica con un trato humano inigualable.

MI experiencia con el Hospital ha sido excelente, no me puedo quejar. He ingresado al quirófanos unas 20 veces y en cada una de ellas todas las personas que me he cruzado ha sido amable, profesional y empática. Y por poner una pega, la comida podría mejorar un poquito.

No solo destaca por su precisión y conocimiento, sino también por su trato humano, tiene una esencia que marca una gran diferencia ofreciendo tranquilidad cuando atraviesas un proceso médico.
Pero un gran médico necesita un gran equipo, y en este centro cada profesional es un ejemplo de dedicación y calidad.
Auxiliares, enfermería, anestesistas, personal de recepción… todos brindan un trato excepcional , con una atención personalizada y una paciencia infinita, haciendo que cualquier preocupación se transforme en tranquilidad.
Las instalaciones son excelentes : habitaciones confortables, limpieza impecable, comida de calidad y un servicio ágil y eficiente.

Terrible experience. Absolutely terrible. I went to the emergency room because I literally had a medical emergency and I had to wait hours and hours only to find out they closed my case because I was outside for a bit while waiting. I had to reopen my case and they said I would have to wait as much as I waited earlier. At this point I thought I’d be able to see a doctor after I’m dead. The international team that was supposed to help me with the translation was not attentive, not responsive, and not present when the help was needed. Especially the woman in hijab did a terrible job. I asked a question and she just said I can go ask at reception myself where no one really spoke English. She didn’t give a shit. I said I couldn’t communicate with them well, and she said she will come but never showed up. I was just left there feeling lost and helpless. What’s the point of having an international team when you don’t even respond to the messages and don’t even show up when the help is needed? And they didn’t give me anything aside from a piece of paper that says something about diet and they charged me 200 euros for seeing the doctor for 10 mins. Not even a prescription for my symptoms. Absolutely disappointed. I would never want to visit again.
