I stayed here for three nights following a procedure. The care team was very good and despite not speaking fluent German, the team made an effort to ensure I understood what was happening if I asked. They were caring and kind. The accomodation was okay but it must be known that I saw bedbugs Bettwanzen in the chairs (pictured). Be sure to wash and dry all your clothes etc at high temperatures when you get home and take care not to take them home with you. I have included pictures of the room and some of the meals. It is frustrating that there is no privacy curtain between the beds in the rooms but I think this is to ensure line if sight for the nurses when they do their rounds. There is not a toilet in every room and the rooms can be quite chilly so use the thermostat on the wall to turn on the radiator. The food is not bad but the cuisine is terrible, breakfast and dinner is the same, bread roll, deli meat, maybe a yoghurt. It is just terrible especially if you have just had a surgery to your face and cannot chew dry or crusty bread. A porridge option or Milchreis Option would be great. It was not a hotel and there are many I'll people recovering from surgery and they are doing a good job. What would make it better is if there was more detail about when things will happen or what you are waiting for at different times. Overall, especially being covered by public insurance, this was great and a big thank you to the care team.

Vom ersten Gespräch bis zur Genesung habe ich mich in den besten Händen gefühlt. Dr. Hristov ist ein fantastischer Chirurg und hat Großartiges geleistet. Aber auch die gesamte Organisation und die liebevolle Betreuung durch Koordinatorin Frau Filin waren herausragend. Danke für die Zeit, das Verständnis und die perfekte Unterstützung. Meine Freundin wurde in der Notaufnahme der Asklepios Klinik Nord – Heidberg behandelt und die Erfahrung war wirklich enttäuschend. Sie hatte starke Schmerzen und hat mehrfach nach Schmerzmitteln gefragt, musste aber über drei Stunden warten, bis sie endlich etwas bekam. Insgesamt war sie rund fünf Stunden dort. Während der Untersuchung wurde keine Rücksicht auf ihre Schmerzen genommen. Obwohl sie deutlich sagte, dass es ihr wehtut, wurde einfach weitergemacht. Die Kommunikation war zudem sehr schwierig, weil ein großer Teil des Personals kaum oder gar kein Deutsch spricht. Dadurch kam es zu Missverständnissen und sie hat kein einziges Mal ein Update über ihren Zustand oder die nächsten Schritte erhalten. Nach Stunden wurde sie einfach mit Krücken und einer Bandage nach Hause geschickt – ohne überhaupt zu wissen, was sie genau hat. Gerade bei einer jungen Patientin, die bereits eine Verletzung an derselben Stelle hatte, hätte man sensibler und professioneller vorgehen müssen. Das war hier leider nicht der Fall. Die Betreuung war schlecht, die Kommunikation mangelhaft und die Wartezeit viel zu lang. Aus unserer Sicht ist dieses Krankenhaus nicht zu empfehlen.
