he fact that it is impossible to do without complex cardiac surgery – bioprosthetics of aortic valves, it turned out at home. My son has friends, and he gave the idea to do the operation at the American Center in this city. We have long heard about this famous institution. We made an appointment with a leading cardiac surgeon and arrived. At first, I was in the clinic – while the examination was going on, the operation, and in the postoperative period I was already living with friends. I feel much better now.

My left shoulder was pulling, giving into my arm and squeezing from above my chest. As a result, I was diagnosed and the cardiologist said that I have coronary heart disease caused by atherosclerosis of the vessels. A stenting operation was needed. I decided to carry out this intervention in Poland. In this country, the cost is adequate and there are the necessary specialists. I was admitted to the Polish-American Heart Clinic. Stenting was prescribed 2 days after the preoperative examination. The operation itself was performed under local anesthesia. A catheter with a balloon and a stent was inserted through a puncture in the artery on the wrist. Then it was moved to the place of blockage. These manipulations were carried out under the control of the X-ray system, all the actions of the surgeon are displayed on the monitor. Therefore, I was not worried that there would be any complications. When the stent was in the right area, the balloon inflated and expanded the artery. Then the stent straightened out and, as it were, “propped up” the vessel walls. After that, the catheter was removed and a tight bandage was applied to the puncture site. Perhaps that’s all. The operation itself lasted 40 minutes and I stayed in the hospital for a day. My health has improved significantly. There is no more this squeezing pain behind the sternum and constant fatigue.

Very high level of medicine and qualifications of doctors. Initially, I was quite skeptical about the possibility of treatment in Poland. Previously, I had experience receiving medical services in Israel and Germany, everyone knows the level of medicine and the economy of these countries.
Doctors have long recommended that I have bypass surgery, but I was waiting, there were certain fears, sometimes time did not allow. However, just before the New Year holidays, my heart problem became very acute and put me in the frame of an urgent need to travel for treatment. I chose Poland very randomly. The choice was limited, as I was forbidden to fly. To be honest, I was bribed by the standards of American medicine, but until the last moment I was tormented by doubts. Upon arrival, I took a deep breath already at the doctor’s consultation, worried in vain and, of course, reconsidered the issue of Polish medicine. Polish-American heart clinics really correspond to the level at which they position themselves. The operation went very well, in addition, I was offered specialized cardiological rehabilitation here, which was not even mentioned in other clinics before. I am satisfied with absolutely everything, including a pleasant price level, which is much more affordable than in Germany and certainly in Israel.

What not to do without complex cardiopatie – biological prosthetic valve replacement of aortic valves, it was found still at home. My son has friends in Bielsko-Biala, so he had the idea to do the operation at the American center in the city. Long had heard about this famous institution. Joined the leading cardiac surgeon, came. The first time I was in the clinic during the examination, operation and postoperative period was already living with friends. Now I feel much better.
