My father had a complicated case involving a gallbladder stone and a stone stuck in the common bile duct. After an ERCP in Lucknow, he developed pancreatitis, which was initially misdiagnosed as mild. His condition worsened, and we brought him to Max Hospital, where Dr. Vivek Mangla correctly identified it as severe and provided the right treatment.
Under his care, my father recovered steadily. Once his LFTs and KFTs normalized, Dr. Mangla and his team successfully removed the CBD stone via ERCP and performed gallbladder surgery. We are very grateful for the expert and compassionate care provided.
This was not the first time we trusted Dr. Mangla. Three years ago, he treated and cured my father-in-law’s stage 3 stomach cancer through surgery and chemotherapy. In October 2024 my mother (71 Yrs) was diagnosed with Colon cancer, we felt lost after consulting different oncologists. Dr. Mangla became a beacon of hope for us. My mother, she is 76 year old, after her colonoscopy doctor found that there is one tumor in rectum, in biopsy they found tumor of sigmoid adenocarcenoma.
