Very efficient experience, from landing at the airport and the transfer to the (very nice) hotel (which is a 5 minute walk from the clinic), to the clinical admin, assessments, surgery and post-surgery checks. It's a very swept-up process, with friendly and helpful (English-speaking) staff, and the added bonus of being considerably better value than the UK, and getting to visit the beautiful city of Prague; it's very cheap and easy to get around, with lots to see and do. I've worn glasses for 40 years, so being free of them is slightly weird - in a good way - and I'm particularly looking forward to the winter when I won't have to need to constantly de-mist my glasses.

I am really happy that choose Praga Medica! I got Trifocal lens replacement on 9th and 10th of April. Very well organised from the start to end.Still have a good communication and support with my coordinator.I was more stressfull before first time conntacted with Praga Medica than when went to surgery. There don't need to stressing,everything going fast and without any pain.My surgery was 16 minutes. I used reading glasses for 8 years and distance glasses for 2 years.3 hours after surgery I was reading my phone,first time after 8 years!I feel improvement every week. In outside I am using sunglasses for safety and bright light.When driving still glare,but will go in weeks. I am really recommend Praga Medica! Excellent dental experience, professional, honest, and modern I had a fantastic experience at the dental clinic in Prague through Praga Medica. From the moment I entered, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff knew who I was right away and everything was well-prepared. The equipment is more modern than what I’ve seen in Cologne, and the dentist worked with calm precision and clear expertise. What really stood out to me was the level of confidence and structure: appointments took exactly the predicted time, and even the music was thoughtfully chosen, upbeat rock during drilling, calm tracks during adhesive work. Also worth mentioning: a potential additional procedure turned out not to be necessary and they told me so honestly. Others might have taken advantage of the situation for extra profit, but here I felt I could fully trust the team. Highly recommended.

Had my FEMTOLasik surgery yesterday on both eyes in the NeoVize clinic in Prague organized by Pragamedica. Could restore my full vision on both eyes already on the surgery day. Extremely happy with the result, service, transparency. The doctors explained me detailed every step in German/English and answered all my questions. The laser surgery itself was quick and painless. Life without glasses/contact lenses feels like a blessing, thank you very much! 100% recommend.

The surgery was completed using the same lenses that had been suggested when I went for a consultation in London, for about ⅓ of the price. There is nothing that could be improved. Three weeks on and my 'hi-def' eyes are completely life changing. From a strong long sighted prescription with astigmatism to being able to drive, read, just enjoy walking in the rain without having to find/ clean my glasses has been the best decision I made (apart from marriage and children!). Very happy to wholeheartedly recommend this service to anybody frustrated with their glasses. Don't waste more time than you need to living in the blurry world

What an amazing experience. First class care, accommodation, and Jana our Representative unbelievably efficient. Could not believe the standard of care and have your own chaperone provided, throughout in every appointment with Drs. The operation was so relaxed and painless. I was sceptical about having my eyes done as I had laser surgery in 2011 and the initial clamping open of my eyes was excruciatingly painful. It lasted about 3 years before I had to go back to wearing glasses. A few of my friends had already been to Praga Medical for their eye surgery and had great results. The support from start to finish was amazing. I can't thank Zuzana enough for her support. I opted for the femtosecond laser as I wanted the best results. It cost a little more, but you only get one pair of eyes and I'm worth it. The surgery takes minutes. The surgeon was great, and the cuddly toy took some anxiety away, especially when my eye was clamped open. I didn't feel it this time. It's almost 3 weeks since I had my surgery. I do get dry eye, and that's it to be expected. I'm still using antibiotics in my eyes as directed. I am typing an arms length away. I don't remember when I could read as well as I do now. My phone used to be so close to my nose while I read texts and emails. All I can say is if you don't want to wear specs any more, get in touch with Praga Medica and trot over to Prague and get your eyes done. 👍🏼 I'm now considering Blepharoplasty to open up my eyes and yes I will be going back to Prague 😊

I recently travelled to Prague through Praga Medica for eye surgery, and overall, I had a very good experience with the agency. Jannis Markovičová was exceptional—she clearly explained everything from the start, was always available to answer my questions, and made all the arrangements for my appointments. I really appreciated that there were no hidden costs, and everything was exactly as she told me. Even when I needed a YAG laser treatment afterwards, it was included and done without any extra charge. The clinic was professional and well-organised. While I’m still adjusting to some side effects—like floaters in my right eye and small black lines like hair in the left—I had been informed these can happen, especially in borderline cases like mine. I do wish the final result had been slightly better, but I felt supported throughout the process. I’m grateful to Jannis and Praga Medica for making the whole experience smooth and well-managed. I would definitely recommend their service to anyone considering eye treatment abroad.

A fantastic and comprehensive service provided by Praga Medica. Very helpful ahead of travelling to Prague, with easy and responsive communication, including information on the services available, costs, treatment options pluses and minuses, accommodation options, etc. Met at the airport, chaperoned throughout, excellent eye testing, preparation, and lens replacement surgery, comprehensive advice on aftercare, and finally transport back to the airport. All those who we met spoke good English, and were kind, helpful, professional and efficient. It’s natural to feel nervous about eye surgery but all the staff do their best to make you feel reassured and relaxed. We could not fault any part of the experience and are so pleased we had the treatment, and had it through Praga Medica. We met a number of others there from the U.K. all having the same surgery as us. We had all been recommended Praga Medica by friends who had already been through the same process. In turn, I too can now strongly recommend lens replacement surgery with Praga Medica to anyone considering such surgery. The surgeon who treated us has done about 50,000 of these operations so he knows what he is doing, and how to do it well. It only takes 5-10 minutes per eye; they can either be done a day apart (as we did) or in the same session on the same day. We did feel tired afterwards and so didn’t do much the rest of the day when surgery was conducted. Although still went out later for a wander, and food, and a bit of sightseeing. It felt amazing to be doing so, almost immediately after major eye surgery. For the first hours and day or so, your eyes feel a bit tired and as though they have a contact lens in them, and sight is not immediately perfect, but improves over initial hours, days, weeks and months; unsurprising as the eye has undergone the trauma of surgery, and eyes and brain have to get used to things, and it takes a while for everything to fully settle down. Aftercare comprises antibiotic and false tears eye drops to be used regularly for the first few weeks; the drops are all provided. And avoidance of sports and swimming and water immersion for the first few weeks, which makes sense. Now a week later it feels as though everything has indeed fully settled. Also it’s recommended to book a full eye exam with an optometrist, after one month, just to confirm everything is ok. All in all, it went as well - or better - than we could reasonably have expected - high quality professional treatment; and way cheaper than the U.K. If you do decide to do it, and do so with Praga Medica, I am pretty certain you won’t regret it. And - life without glasses is great! 😀
