I am so grateful to Dr. Sayed and his team. A huge thank you to Dr. Sayed for helping me regain my health. He treated me with care, was a great listener, and the results were better than I expected. I feel and look better than I did with implants. His team, Tammy (no longer there but was so helpful), Salma, & Paola made each step of the way so much easier. Without all of their support, I'm not sure I would have had such great results mentally and physically. If you need to explant, Dr. Sayed comes highly recommended.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Sayed! I did a lot of research beforehand and took my time to find the right plastic surgeon for me. I had a breast lift and augmentation. I was looking for a more natural look and nothing too drastic. Dr. Sayed’s bedside manner is very reassuring. The staff at Dr. Sayed’s office was very helpful from start to finish. Their professionalism was outstanding and I felt very comfortable from the first day that I walked into his office for consultation. Dr. Sayed made me feel very confident in his procedures and reassured me that I would be well taken care of. Dr. Sayed is a true artist and really cares about his work. He has a compassionate demeanor not only during consultation but every step of the way assuring me that I was in good hands. The emotional support that I received from staff members far exceeded my expectations. My breast explant surgery went according to schedule with no problems and 100% satisfaction.

I am at week 3.5 post en bloc capsulectomy/explant, and mastopexy (anchor lift). If I were to do this process over again, I would choose Dr. Sayed again. I’m healing really well and am very happy with my results. He literally did a perfect job. The office staff has been great too. I feel like I have a new lease on life. I first found Dr. Sayed through an online Breast Implant Illness network. He was one of just a few surgeons recommended for breast explant surgery, and I was so lucky that he had an office in my area (San Diego), as many plastic surgeons do not regularly perform explant surgeries. I had been suffering with horrible symptoms ranging from dizziness, rashes, severe breast pain and heart palpitations in the years after having breast implant surgery, and it was likely the implants were to blame. From the start, Dr. Sayed and his staff were incredibly responsive and accommodating. His coordinator Christine got back to me within one day of requesting a consultation and I was able to be seen the next week. Dr. Sayed was attentive, and validated many of my concerns with my implants. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a very detailed explanation of my options for explant, and the pros/cons of each option. He walked me through each step of the surgery in detail, as well as what to expect in the post operative period. Never at any time did I feel pressured to make a hasty decision and I felt that I was given ample time to ask as many questions as needed to. Ultimately, I chose to do the implant removal with a breast lift, as well as a fat transfer to the breast. The fat transfer was done by using fat from my lower abdomen. I was pleased that this was an option as I was initially concerned about losing all of the volume of the breast after explant. Now that I am fully healed, I can say that I am 100% happy with my results and I am so thankful to Dr. Sayed and his team. I no longer am suffering from anymore BII symptoms which is a huge relief and my breasts look great, if not better than they did with implants. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone else who is looking to get their implants removed! I also wanted to mention that Dr. Sayed and his team have great post-operative care and follow-ups. I felt that they went the extra mile after I developed some keloid scarring on part of one of my breasts, and was able to get a series of Kennalog steroid injections to flatten and smooth the scars. Dr. Sayed and his team were also very accommodating when it came to my very busy/hectic work schedule, which was much appreciated!

I'm a 44 Y/O Male, and naturally I'm losing my hair. I had read that hair restoration technology had leapt and bounded (Neograft) and Dr. Tim Sayed is not only an exceptional surgeon - he's an artist. For those reasons alone, I elected a Neograft procedure with Dr. Sayed and my experience has been tremendous. PREPARATION: - The entire front room staff engaged me patiently (pardon the pun) extensively for weeks leading up to the procedure. Although the procedure is under local anesthetic and you're back to business within a matter of days (I took work calls during my procedure, not kidding), like you'd expect I wanted to align my expectations accordingly. The service leading up to the procedure was stellar. FACILITY: - their La Jolla location (they are in Newport Beach too) is pristine. A beautiful plaza and the second you walk into their clinic, it felt more like I had arrived at a resort. The hospitality and sheer commitment to my comfort was palpable. Every single clinician followed COVID protocols for my sake (this procedure takes much of the day). - I became best friends with the entire staff who waited on me hand-and-foot all day. You even get a lunch break and let me tell you - one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! THE PROCEDURE: - you can watch countless YouTube clips on Neograft/Hair transplants (I recommend you book a consult with Dr. Tim Sayed) so I will tell you what I learned - it's all under local anesthetic so you're up the whole time and it might look invasive but you are just fine. They harvest the hair from what I call the Peter side of your head, and cultivate them like experts to feed the Paul side (in my case, I wanted to explore a more resolute hairline and fill in my waning temples). THE AESTHETIC: - a hair transplant involves so many factors, but the one element that requires someone at the top of their trade is the COSMETIC angle. What kind of hairline would look natural and non-contrived? Dr. Tim Sayed was involved in the entire process (from design to bidding me farewell) and I'm very pleased. POST OP: - You get plenty of meds (anti-bio, pain for swelling, saline spray to help with the itchiness) for your post op care. - Dr. Sayed's staff continue to check up on me and my welfare. PROGNOSIS: - Hair transplants take time to bear fruit (few months of growth and shedding), and research indicates that months 9-12 are where you see your bang for your follicles. HEARTFELT APPEAL TO ALL: - Life's too short. Get a touch up and trust Dr. Sayed with yours, like I did.

My experience with Dr. Sayed has been phenomenal. He performed an En Bloc Capsulectomy with Mastopexy (explant with lift). I was extremely meticulous and thorough when researching and selecting a surgeon. He has several years of experience and he is highly credentialed. I verified his licensing as well as the licensing and accreditation of the surgery centers and anesthesiologists he works with and all are what you want when trusting a doctor for your care. His office is very clean and inviting. The surgery center was equally as pleasing. His entire care team have been amazing and have wonderful bedside manners. During my consultation, I had many questions and they answered each of them with kindness and ease. There were no sour attitudes or pressure tactics. They are supportive and are quickly responsive through recovery and aftercare, especially as you encounter concerns along the way. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Dr. Sayed himself hours after surgery, just to check on my well-being. Dr. Sayed truly is an excellent surgeon and I am grateful to have found him. He (and his team) have taken very good care of me during a challenging time. At every appointment, from the consultation to regular post-op visits, I have had the opportunity to meet with him as he does not pass his responsibility of care off to other staff, and he patiently explains the process of care and progress. I am extremely happy with my results. There is no doubt his warmth, expertise, and the pride and care he takes in his work plays a large role in the overall outcome. I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Sayed to anyone looking to get any cosmetic procedure done but especially if you are looking for implant removal due to BII. He is very knowledgeable about BII and acknowledged all of my concerns. He has amazing bedside manners. He takes his time to genuinely listens to all your concerns and answers all your questions honestly. I was really concerned about what my breasts would look like after the implants were removed but he did a beautiful job. He worked with me to make sure that I achieved the results I wanted with my tummy tuck. I didn't want a muscle plication with my tummy tuck and he honored my decision while giving me the information necessary to make the best choice for me. I healed really fast thanks to all of his holistic suggestions pre and post op. I really couldn't be happier with my experience and results. I am relieved to have found a doctor who will continue to help me age gracefully in a holisitc way.

I had my first set of implants 15 years ago and received my second set of implants 3 years ago after having a single mastectomy due to breast cancer. When I discovered the breast implant illness group and associated website so many of my mysterious symptoms/illnesses seemed to make sense. I also discovered (not having been told by my previous surgeons) that implants are not lifetime devices and need to be replaced every 10 -15 years. I decided that I did not want to keep going under anesthesia every 10 years or so and if removing them could add quality to my life (I'm only 46) having them removed was worth it. Finding a surgeon that had the experience, confidence and care needed for my situation was not easy. Dr. Sayed was the fourth surgeon I met with in the San Diego area and the only one who met all of my needs. He and his staff are kind, caring and skilled. Even knowing that I had already had several consults, he explained the full process to me as though it were my first, which really put me at ease with his level of knowledge and skill. I am 3 months post-op and I am very happy with my decision to have my surgery with Dr. Sayed. The procedure itself went smoothly and recovery has been fairly easy. Dr. Sayed is truly a skilled surgeon and I highly recommend him.

Dr Sayed is truly the best in the business. I had my implants removed (that I had for over 30 years). He takes the time to really get you the optimal results. It was a big decision and every single step of the process he and his staff were amazing. I’m so happy with the results of the explant and lift. There is NO better plastic surgeon in San Diego.
