I had got rhinoplasty done by Dr Safa Manav, he was amazing! Was a great experience and great after care. He listened to what I wanted and I now have my dream nose! I definitely will return to him if I have to get anything else done. Very professional and made the experience for me stress free. Can't thank him enough! Would definitely recommend.

I had face and neck lift in April ,2024. The result is fantastic . Dr. Safa is charming and caring. His whole crew is very nice and caring and organized . I really recommended Dr. Safa for any plastic surgery he does. You will like the new look!! Thank you Dr.Safa and your crew!

MY wife ,me and my brother and sister… My wife ,me and my brother and sister came from Dallas texas to Dr. Safa Manav, who is famous for his treatment in Istanbul, Turkey, to do upper and lower blepharoplasty. He completed the surgery for all four of us His Coordinator Janan is also very cooperative,active girl, without her, our staying would not have achieved our goal. Dr. Safa is a young fast,energizer,and an efficient being.The hospital and nursing staff incredibly helpful generally Dr.safa he is amazing sargent the result was fantastic for all 4 of us he has golden hands. Thank so much. We recommend fro everyone.

Following a lot of disorganization, misinformation & an involuntary change to my surgery date, Dr Manav cancelled 1 day prior. The International Consultant (IC) was not considerate of the fact that travellers need notice to make plans. I didn't get preop instructions until 12 days before even though I asked 2x. So I scrambled to make last minute appointments to remove extensions etc. I confirmed 2x the consult was same day as hospitalization; booked flights/hotels & sent confirmations to be told my surgery date changed, causing a big issue with my bookings. No apology, explanation or accountability until I asked; then she blamed it on the dr saying he changed his policy so consults are now 1 day prior. Understandable, but at least let me know sooner. She also said I might only need 1 night in hospital after I confirmed 4x it would be 2 nights. I got mad because this changed hotel plans again, so she left it 2 nights. 36 hr before my flight I had to ask for airport pick up info. She said I need to send flight/hotel details so she could make the arrangements; but I already sent it! IC provided medical information that she is not qualified to advise on. Ex, for the online consult I forgot to ask the Dr if I qualify for a lip lift. IC said I do & sent me a quote. During the in person consult, Dr said I don't. After asking several times about the consult appointment, I was told 8 pm Mon that it's 7:20 pick up Tues. 20 min before pick up the consult moved to 1pm. The driver was late & the Dr was also 1.5 hr late. The bloodwork paperwork had my incorrect name on it. Patient Coordinator (PC) omitted one of the agreed upon procedures and argued with me about it until I showed her in writing the agreement between me and the IC. Finally I had a short 15 min consult with the Dr; the paperwork he had had my incorrect age. Here I learned he had no idea about a medical condition I have requiring special medication for surgery. I confirmed this medication would be available with the IC weeks before and that the Dr was on board; neither was true. After the consult, I found out that the IC had failed to order this medication in advance and that it is not available in all of Türkiye; and specifically that it will take 7 days to arrive. So...cancelled. The acceptable outcome would have been to take full accountability, apologize, & make amends. Instead the Dr sent the PC I had just met to deliver the news. When I did get a chance to speak to the IC about my deposit she pointed fingers at the anesthesiologist and the people who didn't tell her the medicine had to be ordered in advance. She also sent me a WhatsApp that the Dr would've done the surgery if the others didn't refuse. Really, and put me at risk? Rather than apologize, she argued with me about returning my deposit because I had used their transport from airport & to consult & kept $100. To quibble over $100, after they cost me thousands on airfare/hotel & unpaid vacation is petty & ridiculous. Obviously as disappointed and upset as I was, I agree it was best to cancel rather than be unsafe; there was no reason it should have been unsafe. The consult with the others should've been done before I left my country. And their assessment directly contradicts what my dr and hematologist told me which is that with the medicine it's perfectly safe. Yes it cost them too, but mistakes have consequences and I shouldn't have had to pay them. I should have cancelled sooner; but I kept telling myself I was going for the surgeon and not the admin staff. Now I see it's a reflection on the whole team; I don't know if he is a good surgeon but his business is a disaster. Some of the before/after photos they use are taken from other sites in the US&Canada (I reached out to one in Canada & confirmed they don't know Dr Manav). Unfortunately I have seen other poor reviews and their response often shows lack of accountability, blaming the patient and making excuses pointing fingers. Curious how they will try to discredit my complaints or justify their actions. I dodged a bullet!

I have nothing but praise for my experience. I underwent liposuction on my chest, abdomen, and lower back, and came in without any specific expectations. From the very first day, the level of care and attention to detail, both at the hospital and the hotel, was remarkable—they consistently looked after us. Dr. Safa Manav’s professionalism is undeniable. Additionally, I’m extremely happy with the post-op massages from Elita and the dedicated care from Janan. I leave feeling truly satisfied and grateful for the entire experience.

Review of my experience of cosmetic surgery with Dr Safa Manav MD The quality of Care I received from Dr Safa Manav’s team was exceptional. I traveled as a lone patient to Dr Safa in Istanbul for Rhinoplasty surgery. Dr Safa’s care team were friendly and professional and my questions and needs were always responded to. It can be quite daunting as a lone traveler but at all times there was someone to reassure and support. The hospital and hotel staff at Antwell all looked after me very well and the facilities were above and beyond with the hotel even having their own valuable 24 hour nurse. From start to finish the care team went out of their way to make the best outcome happen. At first I was communicating from my home country on WhatsApp with my coordinating nurse Defne who provided information and facilitated the process that led to my meeting with Dr Safa. It is the friendly personable and thorough communication which stands out. From my initial nursing coordinator to Janan and the nurses at the hospital in Istanbul and Elita who tirelessly responded to my messages and came to the hotel for relaxed friendly catch ups to check my well being and ongoing care needs as my After Care Nurse. It was like talking to an old friend and fellow traveler. It’s important to say that Dr Safa talked gently and thoroughly checking with me what it was that I hoped for and checking both my consent and understanding of what that would involve. Giving clear instructions about how to support the best result. I am very pleased with the result of my surgery and would encourage anyone considering cosmetic surgery to approach Dr Safa Manav’s team.
