Unfortunately this place has gone downhill since it was sold as a result of covid.
State is three times prior to covid is exceptional food was amazing extensive menu and great quantities of high quality food.
Menu is totally changed small serves less choice.
On this trip full of young kids yelling and screaming running around banging on doors
The staff are good kind and respectful
Tennis courts gyms and pools are fantastic
However the changes in the food quality selections and quantity means we won't be staying here again

Good sports hotel. Take a look if there is any championship or something like that we had not the chance to play tennis because there was a youth championship there prices during championships are higher than usual.
Some said the equipment is bad, cannot confirm some of them is old but totally fine to use.

First time at Thanyapura and certainly won't be my last. From swimming and gym sessions to yoga, I tried group classes and private lesson offered by various coaches.
The facility is spacious, providing a variety of activities along with wellness clinics and medical services, catering to different interests and needs. It's family-friendly and conveniently located near restaurants and cafes serving healthy Thai and international dishes.
One highlight was my private swim session with Coach Matthew in the large 50-meter pool. Another was the stretching yoga classl, helping me recover after intense workouts.
I spent time eating at the Divine restaurant and the nearby cafe (gotta recoup plenty of healthy calories). I'd recommend the custom smoothies and energy bars at Booster Bar.
The rooms are comfortable and conveniently close to all facilities, making it easy to rest or work between activities. Staff are friendly and welcoming, no issues there.
Tips for first-timers - bring sufficient sunscreen as Phuket tends to be sunny year-round so sun protection is super important. Also, consider trying the sauna and cold plunge after any session - it's refreshing.

I am training to make take the next step in my triathlon Journey. This is the place to be. So good training for swimming and the facility is just pure class. For the rich ones, just pay the extra to live at the hotel aswell. 110% in to training is lovely to do for 2-3 weeks!!!

The year was 2019 I was divorced from my wife about a year. Covid did not effect the world yet. PM 2.5 was not really a hot topic and a cheeseburger was still kind of just a cheeseburger. The artesian nonsense didn't really catch on as much yet. Life was just as usual, which now comes to as a little wreckless. I remember the day, slumped over on the couch in Patong, stuck to the leather about to pass out in my cliff-side, $1000mo. Old-Patong apartment; waiting for the landlord to repair the aircon as the blood red sun dipped into the sea, graced by a tangerine sky through my unobstructed, 5 meter 90 degree NW floor to ceiling living room windows as my girlfriend fed me her cake and macaroon samples from work. I decided to make the choice to put myself into a one week retreat at Thanyapura. I met with the on-site Doctor, nutritionist, and staff of medical professionals to create a structured path to optimized excellence. During my stay I got back in touch with a sport I hold near and dear (Mike tennis). This was a game changer and pleasant island lifestyle addition. I still get a kick out of the time I inadvertently put myself in the kids swimming class. Was a Rodney Dangerfield moment. What really stood out for me and has changed my life for the better was going strict vegan for one week while attending multiple daily intense classes (Jay's Xbox #1). In the past I lived a healthy lifestyle but going plant based was beyond my normal. This experience has shaped my life into a better mold; body and mind than what was once before and has become my sole motivation to stick around in Phuket! To this year written 2025 I still stop by from time to time and I can definitely say I have never been so determined to live as cleanly,healthily, and active as I do now. Thank you for optimizing my life and I look forward to continuing life progress with your team.
