Hi. I had a lift and BA done in October and used dr Piyapas. He is great, very gentle and professional, and he will instruct you on what will look the best and why. My thoughts on him were that he is a bit if a perfectionist. I would highly recommend him.

Hey, I just had boobs done, was amazing outcome. I used an agency. BIGGEST waste of my time and money EVER. Do it yourself. The surgery can be organised through the hospital. The hospital can also arrange all transfers to and from consultations and surgery and a mobile phone. Then just go and book your accomodation wherever is cheapest or whatever you desire. The agencies are a load of **** - mind my language. I basically didn't even speak to mine by the end of my holiday as I felt she had ripped me off so bad and done nothing for me. I used Lotus Medical International. I did my surgery through Phuket Aesthetic Centre. LOVE MY OUTCOME. Good luck!

Hi i went to Bangpakok Hospital in Bangkok around August 2013, i went to get dental work done which i can highly recommend but there were a lot of people there who were having cosmetic surgery and the ones i spoke to were all happy with their results . I used Cosmeditours to arrange my appointments and transport and am happy i did as I would have felt a bit lost if I was doing it on my own for the first visit in a country that i wasn't familiar with. So yes doing it yourself is brave if you haven't been there before but i'm sure it will go smoothly.

I had a tummy tuck a breast lift and cosmetic gynaecology at Yanhee hospital with Dr Suthat. I am a nurse in Brisbane. The hospital was not as upmarket as Bummingrad but it was clean and seemed to have good standards of care the Dr and nurses spoke good English. There are plenty of good places to stay in Bangkok look at the midrange ones such as Lit Hotel, Asia Hotel etc there is absolutely no need to stayin a high end hotel, I am in Thailand at present staying in a guesthouse called Wendy House, it is costing approx AUD 30 per night, it is definitely not fancy but is clean and adequate not suitable for post surgery as it does not have lifts. There is a nice looking more upmarket one just down the street with lifts called Reno Hotel. I compared notes with a friend who harsher tummy tuck done by a Brisbane plastic surgeon and her job was quite woeful and it cost 3 times more. Hope this helps regards Jackie

From my point of view, the top hospitals in Bangkok are Bumrungrad, BNH and Bangkok Hospital. I have been at all three over the years (though I had no cosmetic surgery done). All three cater for foreigners and you shouldn't need a guide dealing with them. Bangkok Hospital is supposedly among the top 10 of the World’s Best Hospitals for Medical Tourists.
