Don’t do it.
I did my research while in the US. Communicated with Yonsei Uline Dental Clinic about the my dad’s current state. We even took X-rays at a dental office in the US and sent them to the office.
We booked our tickets to Seoul and made our consultation appointment for 11am. We informed them we had another appointment at 2pm.
We get there a little early. We fill out paper work and wait. My dad is finally taken back to for the consultation, I go with him. He waits. After a few min, someone comes to check on him and tells him he needs X-rays. His taken back for X-rays and then is brought back.
The gist is we waited for over an hour and a half and no dentist showed up to provide a consultation. We kept being told that they were still waiting on additional review before we would get our consultation. I even went to the front to inform them that we had another appointment and that we needed to leave by 12:30pm. They informed me not to worry as their office takes lunch at 12:30pm. I noticed that the front desk reception was arguing with another patient. When I went to the front desk 3 times, they were continuing to argue with the patient and more and more of the staff was at the front desk talking to this patient. They were more focused on this than communicating with us.
12:30pm came and went. We got up and left. My dad never got his consultation, we never spoke to a dentist once. As we were leaving they tried to say that they can send us a WhatsApp on their recommendations - which made no sense. If they could do this, why make us wait. When I asked why it took so long, they gave a weak laugh and said sorry.
Do NOT waste your time. Their customer service is horrible. Their communication is horrible.
Because I had nothing to do while waiting in the back, I kept looking around to see what was happening. In the back there were other patients getting various procedures and the staff working.
Things I noticed that made me worried about their hygiene.
Staff wore gloves and was working on a patient. Staff notices small towel on ground. Picks it up, does not change gloves then started working on the patient’s mouth.
Staff had plastic mouth thingy that you bite down on. I think it’s for teeth whitening, not sure. Staff takes this from a patient and goes to a sink, runs water on it and then takes paper towel to dry then places back into drawers. If this is how they sterilize their equipment, I’m glad my dad and I left this dental office.

got my braces done here i’ll share my experience
- morning appointments are good
- evening appointments, however are not that good. services are usually impeccable but idk whether they rush or not but they change the dentist so many times and make you wait like crazy when it’s evenings.
- i went by for my 5pm appointment and got on the chair at 5:44pm and then i was waiting more on the chair and could only get my treatment by 6:30pm. but then they also made me wait soo much in between. first time experiencing such bad service in korea.
- another bad experience: one time a dentist broke my earlier cavity filling while she was removing my brackets and it was clearly her fault (in my opinion) and because they HAD TO fix the space, i paid even more for that.
- My recommendation for foreigners who are living in korea long term and want braces: just go to dentists nearby your universities and explore more instead of paying a lot of money and getting your treatments in bigger hospitals in main seoul. my rookie mistake.
- thankful for the detailed treatment tho. just not happy all the time.

This is a world class dental clinic, I never thought I would have a fabulous experience at a dentist but I would fly to Korea from Ireland just to go here. It is a superb location, right at Gangnam station, and the staff are very efficient, skilled and friendly.
I went for a general cleaning which is just 50,000, and they found quite a few problems with my teeth, which my dentist in Ireland had not noticed, so I was quite shocked. I ended up getting some fillings and a crown done on my root canal. They had the crown mould ready within days, very fast turnaround.
The wonderful receptionist Lydia (who has excellent english & translation skills) and my two dentists went out of their way to give me an appointment before my flight home (this saved me a lot of money and time as I would have had to change my flight), and not only that but I was the only one in the surgery for the last hour of my appointment, so I know they stayed on late especially for me.
They spent a long time, they were not rushed, and my fillings and moulds are perfectly done. I am very happy I found Uline clinic. Their level of of expertise is so far above what we have in Ireland., and they are extremely friendly, and there is hardly any waiting time, it is so efficient! I would have been waiting weeks or months to get the same appointments in my country (and then hours in the waiting room!), that was finished in days here in Korea, and no waiting time at all in reception on either day I was there. It was just an incredible experience, and excellent value!
I will be coming back to Korea in two months and will be getting more dental work done here for sure as I want to get a cap on one of my teeth. Looking forward to coming back! Thank you to all who work at Uline Gangnam!

In the beginning, I was so afraid of taking my wisdom teeth, but the U-line dental clinic made it so easy for me.
The service was good, and the environment was clean. My case was severe, but the hospitality of the doctors and nurses made it easy.
The first time it was hard and painful. But the second time and the third time it was so smooth.
I remember last time it took less than 5min to remove two wisdom teeth, and in just a day, I was able to eat everything without feeling pain.

It’s an amazing clinic. People are very friendly and open. Had several dentals problems. But they took the time to take care of each one of them even if it takes weeks but they make sure it’s completely done.
I don’t speak Korean so Kayla was a big help by translating the conversation for me and she was very helpful.
