Banobagi is truly amazing! I had a pretty bad (in my eyes) hump in my nose bridge as well as a deviated septum, plus my left nostril airway was so hard to breathe out of. I'm 3 months post-op and I can breathe freely! For the other foreigners thinking of going to Banobagi for rhinoplasty- do it! My surgeon listened to everything I wanted, as well as explained the plan for the operation. Shown is before & after ! :)

I recently had my first-ever surgery at Banobagi Clinic in Seoul, South Korea. I underwent double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and both inner and outer canthoplasty. I had heard great things about Banobagi from friends who had procedures done there, and after experiencing it firsthand, I can confidently say I highly recommend them.
Banobagi is renowned for its highly skilled doctors and exceptional service. From the start, the consultation process was thorough—my doctor took the time to explain every detail, ensuring I fully understood the procedure. They also have translators available, and many of the doctors speak English, making the experience smooth and comfortable for foreign patients. The entire staff was incredibly kind and attentive, which made me feel at ease throughout the process. A special thank you to Dr. Kwon Heeyeon for patiently listening to my requests and delivering results that exceeded my expectations. I’m absolutely in love with my new eyes! I also want to express my gratitude to Banobagi’s Indonesian team, Ms. Hana and Ms. Acha, who guided me through everything seamlessly.
Now that it’s been a month since my surgery, I can confidently say that the entire experience— from the procedure itself to the recovery—was virtually painless. The healing process was smooth, and the results are even better than I had imagined. The team at Banobagi truly prioritize patients' well-being and satisfactions. Knowing how anxious I was about the surgery, they provided extra care and reassurance, which made all the difference.
Looking back, my only thought is: I should have done this sooner! The entire process was so quick and easy. I went home right away after the 2.5hours procedure, and the healing process was quick. I chose this plastic surgery clinic despite it being much more expensive than others because of its reputation for excellent lifting procedures. Honestly, I’m a nurse in the United States, and I want to share just how terrible the patient care is at this clinic. I’m so furious that I don’t even know where to begin.
First of all, they have no proper pain management. When the anesthesia wore off, I was in excruciating pain, but they told me they couldn’t give me any more pain medication and that I just had to endure it. I also experienced severe nausea, and in the U.S., they would typically prescribe anti-nausea medication in such cases. Here, however, there was no doctor to be found, and even such a simple prescription was neglected.
At one point, I deliberately removed the pulse oximeter from my finger to see if anyone would notice, and no one came. In U.S. hospitals, this would be unthinkable because patient vitals are always closely monitored. I genuinely felt like I could die here, and no one would even notice.
Now, let’s talk about the surgery results. I underwent the procedure to address sunken under-eyes, sagging skin under my jawline, and nasolabial folds. The doctor aggressively pushed unnecessary fillers on me, inflating the cost to a whopping $15,000. I knew I was paying more than other Korean patients, but I tolerated it, thinking that as long as the results were good, it would be worth it.
After the surgery, while there was some improvement, the results were far below my expectations considering the amount I paid. When I brought up the disappointing outcome to the doctor, they told me I’d need to pay several thousand dollars more for additional corrections. It was absurd. This place feels like a money pit—you keep spending endlessly, yet you don’t actually get the beauty you’re promised.
I will never go back to this clinic again. I’ve been to many other clinics, but this was by far the worst experience of my life.
