Dr. Isabel did such an amazing job repairing my earlobes, she worked her magic. I'm writing this the day before Thanksgiving and four days after surgery and do not think I can adequately express how good Dr. Balza (and Norma!) are.
(a friend and) I started researching surgeons in Tijuana and when I came across Dr. Balza, it just felt right and the more research I did, the better things were.
Norma, Dr. Balza's patient coordinator was simply amazing, from the first of many emails I sent she answered all my questions, even those I asked more than once with patience and care. She made sure to check in and confirm we made it there ok and were settled in the night before surgery. She helped us feel comfortable the day of surgery and kept up with the communication after surgery, checking in on us and even making sure we got home ok!
Dr. Balza - we face timed to discuss my surgery options, what I was looking for, what her recommendations were, etc. She was warm, friendly, and very engaged. I felt heard and that she was fully invested in me, as a patient and as a person.
When it came for the day of surgery and we saw her as she walked into the lobby, she was just as warm and personable in person as she'd been on the phone.
This may sound odd but when she would talk to me, she would put her hand on a shoulder, bring me into the conversation, she did this multiple times and it felt honest and very calming. This comes from a non touchy feel-y person.
Post op visit was great, both Norma and Dr. Balza had us laughing and made sure we were doing well, physically and mentally. One might say well of course, it's their job but there's a difference in just doing your job and being all in with your job.
I wish the care and concern these two ladies put out to us could be bottled because I haven't experienced this type of pre, during and post op care in the states.
Oh - we both had brachioplasty. Our arms look fricken amazing, the sutures are not puckered, the "line" seems placed perfectly and I'm excited to see how it looks as the days go on. Both my friend and I are already planning our next visit.
I simply cannot recommend Dr. Balza enough!

Absolutely excellent. The post who says she is a doctor who does not care is a complete defamation of her character. I personally recieved care above and beyond her being just professional! I literally passed out prior to surgery due to stress and complications with my high blood pressure medication. When I woke up her team was overly concerned, attentive, and beyond professional. Her entire team, from the Anesthesiologist to the Cardiologist made a decision to postpone my surgery until I ran another series of test. Then the Cardiologist on her team, ran additional tests on a holiday, to finally clear me for surgery! All the while her entire team was honest, ethical and exhibited a high level of integrity.
Today, 01/17/24 , I am 2 months post opp and have recieved follow up , check-in texts, every week.
Dana her coordinator was ethical, kind and professional. My mother traveled with me and she treated my mother with care and kindness 💕. I look and feel phenomenal, with no complications or complaints!
The facility was clean and operated with the same ethical and medical standards of procedural care as U.S hospitals ( if that is your reference). I highly recommend Dr.Balza with no hesitation.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Balza’s team. All of her staff if very friendly and nice. I had a BBL done three months ago. The results and so beautiful and natural. Her staff checks in regularly since the procedure and has been very informative and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Balza for a smooth natural looking BBL.
