I spent 28 days at Indimasi healing village in Kerala. My goals were weight and stress management and these goals were more than fulfilled. It was my first treatment so I have no comparison.
The spacious property is well maintained and is currently extended; it lies in a peaceful, quiet environment which is safe to be explored by foot. I stayed in 2 different rooms throughout my stay and both were comfortable, clean and quiet.
The whole staff has always been very helpful and friendly, from the gardeners over the kitchen and reception staff to the doctors. The treatments were, as far as I can say, very good and intense (90-120 min). My two main therapists Vineya and Ashuaty assured that I always felt safe, comfortable and cared for.
The only thing I would have wished for are more regularly scheduled consultations with the head doctor. I was always able to talk to Dr. Mubarak when I asked for it, but set consultations on a regular basis and a more thorough examination and explanation of my dosha type and consecutive decisions concerning my treatment would have helped my understanding for the whole ayurvedic process taking place, especially since it was the first time. I understand the limited amount of time for every patient, but that is something I consider very important especially for first-time patients like me. I recommend reading about ayurvedic treatments and dosha-related illnesses before coming here as it helps asking the right questions and understanding the treatments better.
The fact that Indimasi is an ayurvedic hospital with a spiritual leader, Guruji, makes it very special. The daily Kalari lessons, meditation and Yoga lessons complemented my whole stay very well.
For me personally it was a very good first ayurvedic experience!

Indimasi was truly a healing experience for me. I used to suffer from intense headaches multiple times a week, but after my time here, they have almost completely disappeared. Even when they do occur occasionally, I now have the strength to manage them, and they fade away much more quickly.
From the moment I arrived, I was deeply impressed by the holistic approach to healing. The food, the treatments, and the serene environment all worked together in perfect harmony. If you're looking for an Ayurvedic retreat in Trivandrum, you're definitely spoilt for choice. But let me tell you, INDIMASI stands out from the crowd!
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the team here is something special. The therapists and doctors working alongside Dr. Mubarak are incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely make you feel you are in good hands . You can tell they love what they do, and it makes all the difference in your experience.
And don’t even get me started on the restaurant staff! They’ve mastered the art of making healthy food delicious. We were even treated to a healthy birthday cake that was baked just for a patient – and yes, we ALL indulged and loved it!
A big shout-out to Christo, the Operations Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure every need was met. Seriously, this guy is on top of it!
Now, let’s talk about the cherry on top: the yoga and kalari classes with Guru ji. These sessions weren’t just informative, they were fun and lively! Guru ji is always ready for an insightful discussion, and if you’re into asking questions, he’s your guy—more questions lead to more great answers!
The facilities were spotless, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, and the surroundings are just stunning—lush with fruit trees and vibrant flowers. The resident dog, Sundari, and the guinea fowls were the sweetest companions during our walks!
Overall, an unforgettable experience at a place run by an absolutely amazing team. Keep doing what you're doing, and we'll definitely see you next time!

Je suis arrivée à Indimasi sans attente particulière car un précédent centre n'avait pas totalement répondu à mes besoins.
Indimasi est unique en tant que Village Ayurvédique.
Travaillant actuellement les questions de communautés de santé, je puis dire qu'on pénètre ici dans une vraie communauté de soins qui conduit à la rencontre d'humains qui partagent des communs.
On peut aussi parler ici de communautés de destins vers la guérison de nos corps : soma, psy. Et bien plus. Il vous est proposé une re. Découverte du Soi Supérieur.
Des opportunités de guérison et de découverte du Soi sont là à condition d'adhérer à la démarche et à la vision du "Healing Village" 💚
La vision est portée par un enseignant spirituel. On l'appelle Guruji. Il est possible de le rencontrer. J'ai eu deux interactions avec lui pour un heure au total et j'aurais pu encore converser beaucoup plus longtemps avec lui, tant il est un puits de connaissances aussi bien physiques que métaphysiques, tout ce que j'aime.
J'écris cet avis alors que je visite une troisième centre Ayurvédique d'affiliation "écologique". La différence est flagrante.
Je reconnais le caractère unique, quasi sacré de Indimasi. Ce village a une âme et l'âme Ayurvédique s'y incarne bien : accueil, attention, soins, yogi diet, Yoga, Kalari, et surtout rencontres humaines, tout est là.
Lieu idéal pour ceux bien incarnés sur terre avec la tête dans les étoiles ou le désir de s'ouvrir.
Le restaurant Annapurna avec sa cuisine ouverte, ses cuisiniers et Chef accessibles rendent l'expérience particulière ; je dirais même personnalisent l'expérience.
Je pourrais écrire encore beaucoup plus, mais il m'importe que Indimasi se dévoile à chacun au fur et à mesure...
Attention, ça marche à condition d'y séjourner au moins 15, 21 voir 28 jours, il faut donner du temps à nos corps pour se transformer.

I first heard about it during an evening walk with a friend. Curious, I looked it up and learned a little, but I decided to experience it for myself—without any expectations. Looking back, I’m so glad I did.
Dr. Mubarak is not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate in his approach. I used to believe that Ayurveda takes a long time to show results and has a low probability of curing ailments. However, after spending two weeks here, my perspective has completely changed. I can feel a remarkable difference in my body, and it's working for me in ways I never imagined.
One of the standout aspects of this place is its exceptional hospitality. From Guruji and Dr. Mubarak to the housekeeping and support staff, everyone here exudes warmth and care. The atmosphere is so welcoming that it doesn’t feel like a hospital—it’s something entirely different, something you can only truly understand when you experience it yourself.
A special mention to Christo and Gowri, who go above and beyond to ensure that any concern—big or small—is taken care of, no matter the time.
