I had very bad experience with this Hospital. Please make sure about Doctors 10 times before you take any operation related decision. Dr. Sujeet Jana ( Cardiac surgeon ) and Dr. Praveen Kulkarni (Cardiologist) attended my husband case.
Without proper diagnosis Dr.Sujit Jana did Bypass surgery of my husband who was 53 years old and lost his life in his hand. At the time (Tuesday) , when they took him to OT Dr.Sujit Jana was asking still anesthesia has not given and thinking to do operation on Thursday. It was his call but he made such statement at the last moment when already patient was shifted to OT. it seems his confidence level. Actually i am writing this in very short but we gone through lot of issues with administrative, door security people, which was pathetic.
Unnecessarily they kept patient into the ICU due to room was not available hence we could not meet him for 2 days.
When i complaint about all issues to management , medical services arranged meeting with Doctors who attended my husband. Dr.Borade who is ICU incharge was just putting his efforts to covering up Doctors and tried to put all blames on administrative department. Within a month Dr.Sujit Jana left the hospital and Dr.Praveen Kulkarni behaving like showing sympothy words. Their sorry will not help for my life.
For me everything has gone, my life has been spoiled due to such doctors. Very poor management of Doctors.

We had a very difficult and unexpected situation when our son who works in Mumbai got into a motor accident...being from Kerala we were very unsure and confused when we rushed here...but the Doctors, Nurses and Para Medical support at Gleneagles (formerly Global) Hospital, Parel was so outstanding and thanks to their support and excellent service we were able to get through the difficulties without any strain... would particularly mention the names of Dr Anup Khatri, the eminent knee surgeon who did the emergency surgery, Dr Jitendra and team who assisted and took care of the post op rehab, Nursing team - especially Ms Anu , the attendants - especially Mr Vishwanath,the room cleaning assistant Ms Anju and also Mr Parmar who provided excellent food...a huge thanks to everyone at Gleneagles Hospital...we wish them the very best.

Their billing system is very flawed. Incorrect doctor consultation fees they have added in order to increase the billing amount. Lots of delay to discharge to increase the room rent charges. No accountability by any department

Came here for a full health check, Experience was very good. Was provided with professional health care services with all tests and x-rays done with minimal waiting.
