My experience with Dr. Kar was fantastic. I broke my right side shoulder in Germany. I consulted Doctor there. They prescribed for surgery and told that there was not any alternative, as the fracture was in bad shape. The cost for surgery was about 5.5 lakh rupees ( if we convert the Euro). Total amount was to be deposited in advance, and they gave the appointment after two weeks. Moreover as per their treatment I had to stay there for six weeks. I came back to India and consulted Dr. Kar. He simply prescribed for a sling, and told to come after three weeks. Yes, no surgery. After three weeks he saw my X'ray and prescribed for light physiotherapy. Now I am O.K. Yes the cost involved for this treatment was his two times consultation fee and two times X' ray.

My father-in-law suffered ischemic stroke and his left side was paralyzed. At present he is suffering from acute plasticity & rigidity. During consultation Dr. Debabrata Chakraborty listened carefully all the present problem, symptoms as stated by me and my father-in-law. He explained the reason for severe plasticity. He also stressed on proper physiotherapy along with the medication. He told that there is a significant role of physiotherapy in post stroke treatment. He prescribed medicines according to the present problem of the patient. I and my father-in-law both are very much thankful to Dr. Debabrata Chakraborty for his valuable advice.

One of the most mismanaged hospitals. Very high wait time with no indication as to how long the patient will have to wait. No digital system and multiple long queues for each step. It took us 5 hrs just to reach the main doctor. No place to sit even for knee care patients. Everyone was shouting at each other the whole day! The Dr saw more then 100 patients on the day and to us didn't give more than 5 mins. No consultation on pros and cons of surgery. The next patients were waiting in the cabin during consultation with many more just outside the open cabin door.

Dr. Banerjee patently listens to all the problems of the patient unlike other Doctors who hardly spend few mins with them. Me and my wife went to her in Sept 2021 and we have been consulting Dr Banerjee for the last 8 months. In fact, Dr. Banerjee did the LSCS and delivered our baby on 20th April 2022. We found out that the mother had IUGR during the pregnancy. Throughout the pregnancy, she not only explained the problems in layman’s terms to us while alleviating our fears and concerns, but also responded to our calls in case of emergencies. She provided us prompt guidance and treatment when my wife further developed liver problems during the third trimester of the pregnancy.
We are extremely satisfied with the consultation and treatment provided by Dr Banerjee and we would recommend her to any expecting mother/ to be parents.

In the summers of 2018 I slipped from the stairs and hit my forehead on the glass window and stepped on the broken glass which led to a very deep cut on the forehead and and the flesh came out of my left heel which was a disastrous cut. My forehead was reconstructed and my heel also got reconstructed carefully leaving no abnormalities on my foot. the surgery was done very carefully and neatly..After two years when I look at my wounds its hardly there and I have covered from it on following the strict advise of the doctor and obeying the suggestion resulted an excellent recovery and I am very thankful to the surgeon who carried out the surgery. Scarless recovery of the forehead was possible with cosmetic microsurgery.

Did not mention anything about dialysis need after my fathers discharge in the discharge summary because we wanted to do dialysis somewhere nearby because we stay quite far from Apollo hospital and when or how many dialysis is needed in the discharge summary.
He doesn’t share his ph number
He is hardly reachable. His secretary doesn’t share his number either and always asks to visit hospital physically How is that possible if I need to talk to him may be even less than a min or so?
He doesn’t bother to explain or guide patients family. Never recommend to anyone.

My mother diagnosed with right sided discectomy, she was suffering from acute pain in her right side, specially in her right leg and not able to stand properly. The pain was so exorbitant that she was not able to stand properly for a few minutes, the condition was so bad. We immediately consulted with Dr. Binod Kumar Singhania Ji, Neurosurgeon, Apollo Multispeciality Hospital, Kolkata, who's highly specialised in and experienced in this field, we got Dr. reference through our common relatives, . Dr. Singhania thoroughly checked my mother and suggested for MRI and Lumber Spine X-ray and other necessary pathological testes. After the complete diagnosis Dr. Singhania suggested for her L3-L4 and L4-L5 right sided discectomy and bilateral foraminotomy at earliest. We were hesitant to go for surgery considering her age and other medical condition and also the spine surgery that's a risky affair as always it's having some doubts that patient will be living normal as earlier with out any stress to walk properly. Dr. Singhania assured me and my family that after operation everything will be normal and my mother will not be having any issues in her day to day activities. The operation conducted on June 14th, by Dr. Singhania himself and assured that it's a successful one, I was accompanying her during this activities in Apollo Hospital, Kolkata. After the operation there was no pain at all, after 24 HRS, my mother was able to walk without any difficulties. She was discharged after 5 days.
I want to thank Dr. Binod Kumar Singhania Ji and Apollo Hospital, Kolkata for the successful surgery conducted by himself and assured me and my family that everything will be normal. We trusted and took all the valuable advice provided by Dr. Singhania throughout this course of treatment and surgery. After 3.5 months my mother started her normal life without any major issues.
