As a second-year MBBS student with a growing understanding of patient care and medical ethics, my recent experience at Max Hospital was deeply disappointing and concerning.
We had to wait over 6 hours before a doctor could see the patient, despite the patient’s visibly unwell condition. Such a delay in clinical attention is not only frustrating but potentially dangerous.
When it came time for a routine blood test, the staff's handling was extremely poor. Both arms were badly bruised, indicating a lack of basic phlebotomy skills or care. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially from a reputed hospital.
Even more alarming was the fact that after the tests were done, no one informed us of the results. The C-reactive protein (CRP) levels came back extremely elevated at 12, which clearly indicates significant inflammation or infection. Yet, the staff did not communicate this critical information to us — something that could have serious clinical implications if left unaddressed.
The behavior of the hospital staff was highly unprofessional. Instead of offering assistance or guidance, they were dismissive and at times outright rude, making an already stressful situation worse.

Max saket Very bad hospital doctors misbehave with patients they don't care about anyone's health, they chilled on their desks with phones. I came to emergency department the way Doctor shrishti behaved honestly I was confused is she a Doctor or a cleaner the way of her talking was illustrated. The whole staff is money making mashine just caring about money. I request everyone please please never visit this hospital in your life better to go to a government hospital the washrooms are so dirty. No management nothing zero rating to this hospital

Thank You, Max Hospital – A Journey of Hope and Healing
We were admitted to Max Hospital for a liver transplant under the expert care of Dr. Subhash Gupta. I was the recipient and my wife, the donor. Understandably, we were anxious about the surgery, but our entire experience turned out to be exceptional. Dr. Subhash Gupta and his expert team of doctors is truly beyond words – a savior in every sense.
One of our biggest hurdles was the incompatibility of blood groups. At that point, we felt hopeless. But Dr. Subhash and his incredible admin team led by Mr. Evan stepped in, reassured us, and seamlessly guided us through the stringent formalities under the Human Organ and Transplant Act. Even post-surgery, they continued to support us with warmth and efficiency.
Nursing is one of the most crucial aspects of hospitalization. Thank you Max, for a wonderful Nursing experience. A heartfelt thanks to the nursing team, whose sincerity, perfection, and service spirit made all the difference. Special thanks to Arshi, Joicy, Jatin, Della, Minakshi, Sakib, Sharmili, Sneha, Ruchi, Debjani, and anyone else we may have unintentionally missed. Whether it was managing pain, emergencies, or emotional moments – their compassion, alertness, and professionalism were unwavering, day and night. Few times we walked up to Nursing Desk. Even without telling bed-number or name; nursing team knew the patient details, treatment details, diet details, everything byheart. This is only possible if someone is very sincerely committed. We never had to follow up. Almost everything was done promptly.
A special mention to our nutritionist Ms. Mansi. We follow Jain diet and we were a bit concerned how it will be managed in Hospital. She ensured our Jain dietary requirements were not only met but personalized daily to suit health and taste – a perfect blend of nutrition and care. She is very adaptable and flexible in diet. If we didn’t like any food/fruit, she immediately suggested alternative, and that too ensuring nutrition. After diet preparation, she ensured that suggested diet is strictly followed by canteen.
Last but not least, the housekeeping staff, especially Sunita, played a silent yet vital role in maintaining impeccable hygiene – so critical post-transplant. Their cheerful and diligent service was deeply appreciated.
