As someone who has been part of the athletic community for years—having represented Kerala state in multiple national handball championships—I can confidently say that Ortho-One Orthopedic Hospital in Coimbatore is a true blessing for sportspersons and active individuals.
I first visited Ortho-One in 2009, during its early days, with a complete ACL tear—a devastating injury for any athlete. I chose Dr. David V. Rajan, and that decision transformed my recovery journey. His expertise and calm confidence made me feel assured from day one. The surgery was a great success, and what followed was a carefully guided, high-quality rehabilitation process.
Thanks to Dr. David and his exceptional team, I was able to return to competitive sports. I proudly represented Calicut University in inter-university handball competitions post-surgery, and to this day, my knee remains strong and reliable.
The hospital staff were consistently supportive, courteous, and professional. The physiotherapy department was outstanding, equipped with modern techniques and handled by experienced professionals who truly understand sports injuries and recovery timelines.

The staff were courteous enough to attend to my complaints promptly, without any argument. They were professional and polite, surprising for a large hospital!!
The doctor, Dr Giri called to reassure of their services. For a doctor from a successful Ortho chain to show this gesture is reflective of his patient- orientedness and the organization's culture.
However, some good time management practices could help improve operational efficiency.

I was recently admitted to Ortho One for treatment of a right leg (tibial area) fracture, and I’m extremely satisfied with the overall care I received. the treatment process was smooth and professionally handled. Special thanks to Dr. Vidhya Sagar and Dr. Venkat Adithya, who were both outstanding in their approach, and their compassionate communication made a significant difference in my recovery. They ensured I was comfortable, informed, and confident throughout the treatment.
The majority of the nursing and support staff were equally commendable — caring, attentive, and professional. Their dedication created a supportive and healing environment.
However, I must call out the unacceptable behavior of one staff member — Nurse Dhivya on the 2nd floor. Her conduct was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and outright unethical. It stood in stark contrast to the otherwise excellent standards upheld by the hospital. Her behavior towards patients was not only disrespectful but also damaging to the trust and reputation the hospital works hard to build. I strongly urge the management to take immediate corrective action in this regard.

I came here to check for my mother in law AGE 70 spinal cord laproscopic surgery. DR.SREERAMALINGAM made it. very satisfying and hospital staffs were very polite and kindfull. Ortho one is very very good. Now she is very active and GREAT.
