This hospital post taking over from Columbia Asia has become a disaster. What you may find on the first impression to be nice hygienic place will eventually bring you to tears as they will charge you with miscellaneous items and will arm twist to make money out of you.
My wife got admitted in Emergency for a similar issue which happened back during Columbia Asia days. We told the doctor that it is a minor gastric problem and asked them to give her Emset and Pantocid.
While they have her same medications and discharged her within 30 mins but charged INR 5, 000 for it. I was spellbound to see the bill and on enquiring the operations head Dr Anupama threatened that I will have to pay and they will take it out by any means. Their staff is rude and indisciplined. Would never recommend anyone.
Much better is Park Hospital I feel.

Had been to this hospital which is now manipal. The worst hospital ever especially the staff from the radiology mri and ct scan dept. I thought a hundred times before writing this review because it's about the status of an employee or employees but the way they behaved with elderly people and me personally was pathetic. One of the employee threatened a family member of mine saying if we don't listen to what they saying they will not perform the tests when the person was completely listening to the staff but actually what happened is the staff dint know what to do he was like a L board and the patient had to give him ideas . Wasted almost two hours for the tests which could be done in just 20 mins. And the charge was triple the original amount . On top of all that the way they behaved with elders was like how they see garbage. Such indisciplined, unorganised and zero knowledge staff especially in the mri section also they are used to lie a lot. They make you wait for hours for the test and when the test starts they say this is not ok that is not ok and then prolong the test and charge a lumpsum amount now Columbia asia was good until manipal took over and it went to worst after they took over there's no more humanity left amoung most of the doctors and staff. Very dissapointed with the staff behaviour especially mri dept staff plus ct scan.they are doing something fishy about the bill they charge. If you people don't fire such staff this hospital will definitely be under blacklisted hospitals mark my words. Such staff dont deserve to be ther and the way they treat elders and children they should be thrown out of the hospital and jobs permanently or a complaint has to be lodged against the hospital itself .....take action asap ....mri dept especially.

My father has been a regular patient of erstwhile Columbia Asia hospital now Manipal hospital. He had undergone bypass surgery and pacemaker fitment in 2019 by Dr Keshav murthy. Post that my father has been regularly visiting the hospital for check up. But since 2022 the same hospital staff has become least cooperative. Every visit he is called on saturday and then the doctor asks to wait and then vanishes post lunch. This forced us to get admitted for saturday and sunday with no specialist doctor support even when patient was complaining of pain.
In another instant they asked to get MRI done and made us wait for complete day saying there was queue. When we insisted at 1800 hrs to do the mri they were reluctant and said still patients are in line. When checked at the mri lab there was no one since afternoon. We were to be discharged but due to the staff had to spend another night in hospital. Next day they did the same and asked us to arrange for the person to shut the pacemaker which the hospital was supposed to arrange for an admitted patient of theirs. This again made us stay another night with no response. Finally it was done next day at 1600 hrs and report was told will be getting late and doctor has gone home.
The most hated thing was their regular call for money to be paid which they never fail even at midnight. Also they billed us for mri before the scan was done.
The hospital has become only money making business. Heartening to see the same old doctors doing the same. Iam utterly disappointed. No towel or welcome kit provised like before. No response from nurses. But insulting patient like loan sharks in their room infront of other patients for money...
Please change the sms thing from MANHOS.. to something else.
You are proving to be a bad omen for my father...
I wish i could shift him to other hospital. If anything happens to him i hold this hospital responsible for it.

I was very unfortunate to select this hospital for my wife's delivery. The columbia doctor was a junk, she wasn't aware of anything. She tensed us by giving fake inputs and asked for ceserian delivery the I called my personal doctor to hospital and she did it normal delivery in just half an hour. At the end, they took complete money from my insurer and slap me with a hefty amount of around 13k rupees on the name of NME( Non medical expenses). Even though my insurer was ready to pay those as well and asked me to send the complete list of charges but hospital denied to do so on the name of policy. The charges calculated by them is much more than the market price. For example a huggies diaper pad in market comes for around 10 rs per unit but in the hospital they provided some local dipers at rs 60 per unit. The underpad in market comes for rs 20 per piece but they charged 100 rs per unit. The staff and management is very uncooperative . Hospitals seems very fascinating from outside but is a lala shop in reality. Only choose this hospital when you don't have any other option. Choose paras instead for a affordable and better treatment.

I would like to share my unpleasant experience with Dr.Bhuvaneshwar US, who is a paediatrician at Manipal hospital. He was the reason for my severe post partum depression. He was extremely unprofessional and rude after I gave birth to my baby. I was unable to nurse my baby due to certain issues, but he belittled me in front of other patients and said that I failed at breastfeeding without finding the root cause of the problem. Any new mother wouldn't like to hear such discouraging words from a doctor. He made me feel very guilty.
When I went back to him again after 2 months for my child's second vaccination dose, he said that my child had a tongue tie and it is not going to impact breastfeeding . When I asked him why he did not reveal this information to me immediately after my daughter's birth, he just ignored my question completely and continued attending other patients.
I stopped consulting him after my bitter experience with him.
I would not recommend Dr.Bhuvaneshwar US to anyone.
Also, there are no certified lactation consultants in Manipal hospital to guide a new mother in the right direction. None of them are qualified or skilled to assess tongue tie/lip tie/high palate or any other oral issues in babies. If you have any issues with breastfeeding, please consult a certified lactation consultant and a peadiatric dentist who can assess all sorts of issues relating to breastfeeding.
After 5 months, I happened to consult a certified lactation consultant and a paediatric dentist who told me that it was the tongue tie/lip tie which was affecting my breastfeeding journey. Nobody at Manipal told me about it after my daughter's birth. If I had known this earlier, I wouldn't have gone through severe postpartum depression and would have managed to successfully nurse my daughter from the very beginning.

Very unprofessional team who vaccinate people for covid. They don't know how to inject the covid vaccine which is ideally painless for all. My first dose of vaccine was painless and don't evn know when it was done from another hospital. But this Columbia Asia staff He injected the syrine into the arm bones and was pushing it hard into the bones even when I kept screaming hard which caused extreme painful shiver like a electric current in entire body. And he gives reason that lean people( my weight 55kg) don't have mass In hands hence the needle touches the bone( which was not the case in 1st dose) . Ever since then I have extreme and continues pain in the arm and shoulder. It's been 4 months but the pain don't subside. Hopeless staff who don't have expi to vaccinate. I have the name of the person whodid the vaccination. Dsnt know basics and injects like he is injecting on cows and buffalos.

These idiots just show cased the facilities but no doctors so called clowns are interested in treatment. Just show case facilities to mint money but if patient is dead no responsibility. Main motive in the hospital is loot as much as possible from relations the doctors out there are bunch of jokers who can do delivery for a pregnant lady but can't diagnosis a serious issue. Pathetic jokers are the management who will not hand over dead body if you don't clear the bill. Because of the bunch of jokers i lost my better half in year 2016.
If you are admitting a serious case in this hospital then trust me are pushing your loved ones into coffin think twice before you admit your beloved into this hospital.
