Leider muss ich meine Enttäuschung und Frustration über den Verlauf der Behandlung meines Onkels auf Station 22 (Heart-Valve-Unit) im Klinikum Links der Weser zum Ausdruck bringen. Mein Onkel lag über 30 Tage in diesem Krankenhaus (vorher lag er im Klinikum Bremen-Mitte). Die Kommunikation mit der zuständigen Oberärztin , Frau Dr. D., war leider nicht transparent und offen. Statt klare Entscheidungen und die nächsten Schritte zu kommunizieren, wurden wir oft hingehalten. Die notwendige Gefäßerweiterung (als vorbereitende Maßnahme für die bereits genehmigte Aortenklappen-OP in Bad Oeynhausen) wurde im Klinikum Links der Weser aufgrund der schlechten Blutwerte abgelehnt. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass keine weiteren Optionen in Betracht gezogen wurden. Obwohl sein Zustand anfangs relativ stabil war, wurden wichtige Maßnahmen verzögert, was dazu führte, dass sich seine Werte immer weiter verschlechterten. Dies hatte meiner Meinung nach Einfluss auf die spätere Entscheidung, dass eine Gefäßerweiterung aufgrund schlechter Blutwerte abgelehnt wurde. Seine Sorgen und Beschwerden wurden nicht ernst genommen. Er hat immer wieder gesagt, dass „kein Arzt da ist“ und er war auf dieser Station sehr unglücklich. Trotz seines starken Lebenswillens (er rief immer wieder: „Ich möchte laufen!“, „Ich habe Kraft!“, „Rettet mich!“, „Sie bringen mich um!“) wurde der mutmaßliche Patientenwille nicht berücksichtigt, stattdessen wurde eine ausschließlich palliative Behandlung eingeleitet. Mein Onkel ist voller Leid verstorben und hat bis zum letzten Moment gekämpft. Dieser Verlauf hätte aus unserer Sicht vermieden werden können. Ich empfehle, sich (wenn möglich) an eine erfahrenere Klinik zu wenden und eine Behandlung auf Station 22 (Herzklappeneinheit) zu vermeiden. Wir hoffen, dass diese Kritik dazu beiträgt, die Qualität der Kommunikation und Behandlung in der Zukunft zu verbessern, um anderen Patienten eine bessere Erfahrung zu ermöglichen.
