לאחרונה עברתי ניתוח LITT תחת טיפולו של ד"ר עידו שטראוס ואני שמחה להמליץ עליו בחום גדול. החוויה שלי תחת טיפולו הייתה יוצאת מן הכלל מכל בחינה.
ד"ר שטראוס התבלט במיומנותו הרפואית ובמקצועיות שלו. זה בלט לי מאד, לאורך כל התהליך, הוא לא רק היה זמין ומסביר פנים אלא גם נתן לי תחושת ביטחון ונחמה, ישירות ואמת, מה שהקל עליי להתמודד עם תהליך שבדרך כלל עשוי להיות מאתגר ומלחיץ.

עברתי ניתוח MVD בידי ד״ר שטראוס על מנת לטפל בכאבי טריגמינל נאורלגיה. הטיפול בידי ד״ר שטראוס והצוות שלו הן לפני הניתוח והן אחריו היה מסור, מקצועי ואדיב. ההסבר על מקור הכאבים, על אפשרויות הטיפול, על הניתוח עצמו וההחלמה הצפויה היו מפורטים וברורים ונעניתי על כל שאלה בסבלנות רבה. הניתוח עבר בהצלחה וההחלמה היתה מלאה ומהירה כשד״ר שטראוס והצוות שלו, מירי וליאת, שמרו במהלכה על קשר על מנת לשאול לשלומי ולעזור.
גם הטיפול במהלך האשפוז על ידי כל הצוות במחלקת נוירוכירורגיה באיכילוב היה מסור ומלא רצון טוב להקל ככל האפשר.

בני בן 15.5 עבר ניתוח בראש בשיטת LITT אצל ד"ר שטראוס . לכל אורך הדרך ד"ר שטראוס היה גלוי וברור לגבי הסכנות והאפשרויות תוך מתן הסבר בגובה העיניים גם מול הילד, כיצד מתבצעה הניתוח, זמנים והחלמה. דאג לחסות את כל הברורים הרפואים כדי להגיע ליום הניתוח שהכל מסודר.
מדהים היה לראות את ההחלמה המהירה מהניתוח בניגוד לניתוח ראש פתוח תוך יומיים השתחררנו מבית החולים כאשר ד"ר שטראוס היה כל הזמן עם היד על הדופק אם בבדיקה לאחר הניתוח והרצון לדעת שהוא שולח אותנו הביתה כאשר הוא בטוח שהכל הלך לפי הספר ולא ויתר גם על בדיק MRI נוספת לפני השחרור.
ענת האחות המתאמת ליוותה אותנו לכל אורך התהליך וגם ביום הניתוח דאגה לעדכן אותנו ההורים מה קורה בכל שלבי הניתוח בכדי להוריד דאגה. דאגה לסדר לנו ולתאם את כל התורים לפני ואחרי הניתוח בצורה מסודרת ומסורה וכמובן עזרתה של ליאת המזכירה .
לא פחות חשוב החיוך של הצוות כולו האנושיות והמענה.

קבל את פני ד״ר שטראוס שהסביר בסבלנות מירבית את התהליך שעלי לעבור.

בכל שיחה איתו מוודא ד״ר שטראוס שכל תהליך ברור לי לחלוטין.
ד״ר שטראוס אכן דוגמא ומופת לרופא מנתח מומחה מקצוען וגם בן אדם .
ואכן גם השירות במרפאתו נוהגים כפי שתודרכו על ידו ותודה לליאת על העזרה הרבה .
