I have been a patient at the main Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul and am very satisfied with the care and services I’ve received. The doctors are excellent—especially Dr. Kemine Uzel, my gynaecologist, who was incredibly professional, kind, and reassuring throughout my treatment.
I underwent surgery in January 2025, and my hospital stay exceeded expectations. The care and attention I received from the nurses and support staff during my admission were exceptional. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
The preoperative process was also very smooth. I had a detailed consultation with the anesthesiologist, who patiently walked me through her role in the surgery. Her clear explanations and calm demeanour were incredibly reassuring and helped ease any anxiety I had before the procedure.
Since then, I’ve returned to the hospital for visits with a dermatologist, dentist, and GP, as well as my annual check-up. I’ve been pleased with the staff’s professionalism, efficiency, and warmth each time. Florence Nightingale has become my go-to hospital whenever I’m in Istanbul.
A special mention must go to the translation services, which are an invaluable part of the hospital experience for international patients who are non-Turkish speakers. Simaza, my favourite translator, has gone above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and informed at every step. She promptly shared test results, helped coordinate the translation of the medical reports, and was always available to support with a kind and attentive approach.
I’ve yet to have a negative experience at Florence Nightingale Hospital. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking quality healthcare in Istanbul.
