I was quite satisfied with my stay and care at the hospital. Dr. Ulrich, a highly qualified medical practitioner, performed my surgery, which I was also happy with. The service at the clinic is amazing and polite. Overall, I was pleased, and I suggested this clinic.
We have the utmost confidence in Ophthalmologist Dr. Ulrich for the entire family!! Our kids are also treated professionally and with compassion!

Dr. Schaudig hat bei mir eine Blepharoplastik vorgenommen. Die Operation verlief für mich schmerzfrei. Das Ergebnis ist sehr gut. Ich fühle mich mit meinem frischeren Aussehen ausgesprochen wohl.
In der Augenabteilung der Asklepios Barmbek wurde ich freundlich und kompetent behandelt.
Einziger Wermutstropfen war, dass mein OP-Termin zweimal aus OP-Personal-Gründen verschoben wurde. Da der Eingriff allerdings nicht medizinisch notwendig war, konnte ich ganz gut damit leben.
Für meine demnächst erforderliche Katarakt-Operation werde ich mich vertrauensvoll wieder in die Hände von Dr. Schaudig begeben.
Das hier zuvor Geschilderte wirkt wie ein kalkuliertes mediales Spektakel. Es ist sehr bedauerlich für die kleine Tochter und die Familie. Doch diese Angelegenheit ist eine persönliche zwischen ihr und Herrn Dr. Schaudig. Solche Darstellungen sind stets einseitig. Wie so oft macht es eine Aussage über die Schreibende selbst und ihren Umgang mit dem Geschehen. Es geht grundsätzlich um Interaktionen zwischen Menschen. Entsprechenden Schilderungen fehlt es prinzipiell an Objektivität. Diese Angelegenheiten gehören nicht hierher, sollten und können nur zwischen den Betreffenden persönlich, aber nicht öffentlich geklärt werden. Ich verurteile eine solche anmaßende Selbstgerechtigkeit.
Das Leben verläuft nicht gerade; vor Unglücken können wir uns nicht schützen. Sonst wäre auch der Tochter dieser Unfall nicht passiert. Aber leider standen eben doch Gegenstände, die ein spielendes Kind potentiell verletzen könnten, unbedacht im Haus.
Auch ich habe mein Augenlicht des linken Auges verloren als ich fünf Jahre alt war. Ein Schneeball, geworfen von meinem Bruder, enthielt leider Steine.
Dennoch bin ich ein glücklicher und lebensfroher Mensch geworden; niemals würde ich meinem Bruder diesen Unfall nachtragen.
Herr Dr. Schaudig hat bestimmt sein Bestes gegeben. Doch die Dinge laufen manchmal, so bedauerlich es auch ist, anders!
Wenn über einen Schicksalsschlag eine Ehe zerbricht, kann dieser nur ein Anlass, doch nicht der Grund dafür sein. Tragfähige, reife Beziehungen schweißen solche Ereignisse zusammen.
Herrn Dr. Schaudig habe ich im Jahre 2001 zuerst in seiner Funktion als Oberarzt im UKE HH kennen gelernt. Vier Ärzte hatten zuvor eine Fehldiagnose gestellt. Mein OP-Termin in einer Klinik stand fest, vom dortigen Chef persönlich untersucht und bestimmt. Durch eine Empfehlung hat es mich kurz vor dieser geplanten OP zu Herrn Dr. Schaudig geführt, der meine Angelegenheit von Anfang an sehr ernst nahm, genau hinsah und sehr einfühlsam handelte. Mein Auge habe ich deshalb bis heute. Jedes Jahr gehe ich zu ihm zur Untersuchung und Behandlung, fühle mich bei ihm sehr gut aufgehoben und bin dankbar, dass es ihn gibt.
Ich wünsche der Schreiberin, daß sie innere Ruhe erlangt. Haß und Verbitterung vergiftet unsere Gedanken. Wir sind stets das, was wir denken und strahlen es auf unsere Mitwelt aus.
Ich habe keine guten Erfahrungen mit PD Dr. Schaudig gemacht. PD Dr. Schaudig war unfreundlich und immer kurz angebunden. Er wollte bei mir ( ich bin Privatpatient ) unbedingt eine Virektomie ( PPV mit Membrane Peeling ) durchführen, obwohl ich inzwischen weiss, dass sie bei meinen damaligen Werten (Visus 40 % ) nicht unbedingt angezeigt war. Hilfsweise hat er mir eine Graue-Star-Operation empfohlen, in die ich leider eingewilligt habe. Danach war mein Visus so schlecht,dass nun eine Virektomie tatsächlich angezeigt war. Nachdem Dr. Schaudig es abgelehnt hatte, mir bei einer akuten Bindehautentzündung unmittelbar vor meinem 70. Geburtstag zu helfen, habe ich den Arzt gewechselt.
