Prof. Urban stellte die grausame Diagnose ALS ohne ausreichenden Befund und leitete sofort eine belastende MS-Medikation ein. Diese Diagnose bestätigte sich nach dem entscheidenden Testergebnis nicht. Daraufhin wurde sofort eine andere Diagnose gestellt und eine Blutwäsche als heilbringende Maßnahme angepriesen - bei einem 85-jährigen Patienten! Diese wurde nach 3x von uns Angehörigen abgebrochen, weil der Gesamtzustand kritisch wurde. Erst jetzt wurden wir darüber aufgeklärt, dass die Diagnose noch unklar sei, die Blutwäsche viel umfangreicher sein muss als zunächst kommuniziert und sich eine lebenslange immunsuppressive Medikation anschließen müsse. Die wesentlich mildere Therapieform der Infusion wurde uns erst angeboten, als wir das Krankenhaus verlassen wollten. Aber auch die zweite Diagnose bestätigte sich nicht.
Fazit: Prinzip "Versuch und Irrtum". Unklare Diagnosen, ungenügende Aufklärung, fragwürdige, teure Therapien, herablassende und infantilisierende Kommunikation
