I came to Prof. Lahat for a consultation regarding a cancerous tumor found in my esophagus. Fortunately for me, Prof. Lahat has extensive experience and after reviewing the documents and findings, he suggested that I perform a relatively simple procedure at Ichilov Hospital to remove the tumor from the esophagus without the need to remove organs from the swallowing system. Without the knowledge and experience he brought, I would have found myself undergoing a complex and apparently unnecessary procedure.
