Caution Regarding This Clinic – My Honest Experience
I strongly advise anyone considering treatment at this clinic to proceed with extreme caution. Do not be misled by the clinic’s polished appearance, use of scientific-sounding language, or claims about microscopes and advanced technology.
This review is an honest and detailed account intended to help potential international patients, particularly those considering treatment with Dr. Melis and Dr. Sinan.
My initial communication was with Dr. Sinan via Instagram direct messages. We discussed my dental concerns and the treatment options available. After I informed him that his quoted prices were beyond my budget, he suggested I see Dr. Melis, whom he described as having 10 years of experience and expertise in biomechanics. I expressed hesitation, but Dr. Sinan reassured me that he would personally oversee the entire process and emphasized the importance of their use of microscopes for precision.
Based on this, I decided to proceed. Upon my arrival in Turkey, I was collected by a member of their team and taken directly to the clinic, where I briefly met both Dr. Sinan and Dr. Melis. Dr. Sinan examined me for less than two minutes and handed me over to Dr. Melis. Treatment began shortly after.
As a clinician myself, I carefully observed each step. Contrary to their advertising, no microscope was used during active treatment. Crowns were prepared and delivered within two days. I was provided with temporary fitting crowns as I intended to return to the UK for further evaluation before final cementation.
Unfortunately, the crowns were not properly fitted, and I missed my scheduled flight. The clinic’s team initially told me they would cover the cost of my changed flight and extended hotel stay. However, once Dr. Sinan became aware of this, his tone shifted dramatically. He denied any responsibility, sent voice notes distancing himself from the issue, and stated that he would not cover any additional expenses.
At that point, the crowns were visibly misaligned. I insisted on lab adjustments rather than chairside modifications by Dr. Melis. After the lab revised the crowns, they appeared acceptable. Upon return to the UK, my local dentist was initially impressed.
However, within three months I began experiencing pain, discomfort, and gum inflammation. My UK dentist, who fortunately had not permanently cemented the crowns, referred me to a leading periodontist. After thorough evaluation, including X-rays, I was diagnosed with biologically invasive, poorly fitted crowns. This condition has caused significant health issues and stress.
When I reached out to Dr. Sinan and Dr. Melis with this diagnosis, they both dismissed it, stating there was no scientific evidence that the work was incorrect. Dr. Sinan distanced himself further, saying he was not responsible for the treatment and that I should escalate the matter to official bodies if I wished. He then accused me of causing him psychological stress and threatened to report me.
To be clear, all my communication with Dr. Sinan has been via Instagram, and I have repeatedly requested a phone call and a refund. These requests have been refused. My final message was met with claims that I was being “threatening” for simply asking for a 24-hour response.
Dr. Sinan also requested examples of UK-based misdiagnosis or complaints, which I provided. I received no response.
He insists the preparation was performed under a microscope—this is categorically false. As a professional myself, I can confidently state that it was not.
I am writing this review to help others avoid the serious consequences I have faced. I am now dealing with further treatment, irreversible gum damage, and corrective procedures estimated to cost over £20,000. I deeply regret placing my trust in this clinic.
I am happy to provide further information or supporting documentation to anyone who needs it. I have kept all communication and evidence related to this case.
This review is a factual and professional account of my experience with this clinic.
