Education, training and advanced training courses
1984-1992 – received higher medical education at the Medical Institute in Rostov-on-Don (Russia).
2014-15 – advanced training in the field of heart valve correction and replacement in Austria, Belgium and Lithuania .
2011-2012 — completed clinical training in cardiothoracic surgery at the Marie Lannelongue Medical Center (Paris, France), one of the most renowned European clinics specializing in the replacement of heart valves and arterial vessels, bypass surgery and correction of congenital heart defects.
2010-2018 – worked as a cardiac surgeon at the Sheba Medical Center (Tel Hashomer, Israel, including at the Children’s Hospital. In 2018, he was appointed head of the aortic surgery unit.
2002-2010 — completed residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Beilinson Hospital (Petah Tikva, Israel) under the guidance of renowned cardiac surgeon Professor Bernardo Widne. Graduated with honors.
