FMS Dental exceeded my expectations, not only in service, but hospitality as well. I live in Thailand, where dentistry is already cheap, but chose to look elsewhere due to my previous experiences with Thai dentists. After reviewing countless locations throughout India, I settled on FMS Dental (Jubilee Hills). Why? Because Dr Rohini (she deals with international patients online) could answer my questions, was always there online, and could arrange for everything. She also arranged a video chat with Dr. Paul so he could answer any further questions I had, and to assuage any fears I might have regarding leaving my comfort zone for something like this. I flew into Hyderabad via Bangkok and was met at the airport by the FMS Dental Hospital driver who then proceeded to take my wife and myself to the hotel which was recommended and then booked by Dr. Rohini for the duration of my stay. She wanted me to book two weeks, but I couldn't do so at the time and could only allow 12 days, of which 2 of those were arrival and departure days, so in essence, I only had 10 days for them to do the work. The first day at the office was a consultation day, which was quite lengthy. New x-rays, panoramas, and a CT scan. I had previously seen a dentist in California and already had known what I needed, or thought I did. It was suggested by the USA dentist that I have the 8 remaining uppers removed, and an "All on 5" implant procedure, all at a cost that would break my bank for sure. After FMS staff got ahold of me, and after being seen by no less than 4 different dentists who specialized in everything from fillings, root canals, oral surgery, and implants... it was suggested that I keep my teeth, and that they work with what I have... provided I was okay with that. Ultimately, they would do what I wanted, so I deferred to their judgement and let them call the shots as work progressed. Worst case scenario, teeth had to be removed, best case, none had to be removed and teeth (permanent bridges) could be fashioned to fit what I had. They didn't want to remove healthy teeth, to which I agreed. I also needed a bone graft and a sinus lift plus four (4) implants for teeth I was missing, three of which were molars. I won't lie and say everything was pain free. Should I have had the "All on 5", I believe it would have been pain free as they use anesthesia and you are knocked out while they do the work. But, since they were working with the teeth I had, they had to be ground down for the bridges, I needed three root canals, a filling or two, a big spike like post put in one tooth, and more impressions than I could count. All of this was before they even started on the implants/bone graft/sinus lift. I kid you not, this was a lot of work to be done in the short time I was there. My comfort was always a concern though, and if I began to feel pain, I just had to let them know and they would give another injection if I wanted. It is my nature to suffer (for some sick reason, lol), so if the pain killer was starting to wear off, I'd just as soon they power on through the job at hand and finish instead of having to have another injection. It was mentioned a couple of times that for what they did, they probably would have done over a period of 4-5 weeks as opposed to a week and a half... so yeah, I was hurting some. Now aside from the dental pain, which was partly my fault because I did refuse a couple shots once things began to wear off, the most pain I had was absolutely no fault of theirs. Whenever I have any kind of mouth trauma and dental stress, I will get canker sores at the site of the trauma. It could be at an injection site, where a clamp rubbed my gums, the tooth socket where the put the implant, where my lip was pinched by the suction thing they use, the stitches for the bone graft and sinus lift, or the stitches and incisions they had to make in order to drill the implant posts in. Needless to say, I got canker sores in ALL of those places. It hurt like hell, then to top it off, I couldn't eat a thing which didn't help. Try eating some nice spicy Indian food with a mouth full of canker sores, lol... it isn't happening. But with most things, time heals all... the canker sores went away, the implant posts healed over, and what is best of all, I can eat again without any kind of pain. Prior to the procedures being done, it was painful to eat, and I forgot how nice it was to enjoy food without worrying where I had to chew. This was all about 2.5 months ago, and now, I don't even think about it. I will say that because I can eat what I want, part of me doesn't want to fork out the $$$ for the crowns that will go on the waiting implants in another few months. Being that they are Nobel products, I can have them done anywhere I suppose. The jury is out as to whether or not it will be cost effective to fly to India, stay another 9 days for crowns. At least on the return visit, the work is minimal and most of the allotted time is for check-ups. I think it goes something like 2 days for the crowns.... then a week off.... then a final check, and you are good to go home. They do have another office opening up at the beach, so maybe..... As far as Dr Paul, he knows his stuff and I never felt as if he didn't. The same goes with the rest of the staff, they really are concerned about your welfare and doing a quality job. Never, ever once did I regret going here, so therefore I definitely would recommend this office. Yes, it is far, especially if you are flying from the USA, but if you are in the region and you need work done, you might as well go for it. While there, I met very satisfied customers from Australia, Germany (I think), and Saudi Arabia.... all with perfect smiles. Cost wise, it was about a 50% savings over Thailand rates, and 75% less than USA. At those savings, having that level of service by highly qualified staff, I don't see where you could go wrong.

Dr. Paul was incredible. After the 3-D scan was completed he and Dr. Parthasaradhi sat down with me and my wife and totally explained what dental issues needed to be addressed. He and his team had thoroughly studied the scan and he gave me some alternative treatments. After I decided what I wanted he then had a treatment plan prepared with cost estimates. Dr. Paul and his team were incredible. The care and treatment were meticulous. In all of my 69 years I have never received such excellent dental treatment. It definitely was a team approach. Dr. Shailaja and Dr. Paul placed the implants after Dr. Rama did the difficult extractions. Dr. Priyendu performed five root canals while Dr. Kavya did the meticulous removal of 18 defective crowns and then prepared impressions for the new crowns. The entire trip to India from the United States was orchestrated by Dr. Rohini. Dr. Rohini made arrangements for pickup and return to the airport. She also made arrangements for us to stay at the Dapalla Hotel which was a very short walk to the clinic. Between treatments Dr. Rohini arranged for sightseeing to various sights such as Film City, Chowmalla Palace and Charminar. We are back in the United States and will be returning to India in about six months for additional crown placements. Oh, I want to also mention that at all times we felt very safe and secure. It was a long journey but well worth the outcome. Again, THANK YOU to my doctors and friends from India.

I had full mouth restoration a 2 months ago. I don't feel that my teeth are artificial anymore. Everything is fine. The implants and teeth placement was very smooth and I felt I was in expert hands. Dr. Dushyanth Poul. took care of everything including esthetics. Great experience. And now I have brought my brother to get his full mouth restoration. Hopefully that will go as well as it went for me.

After much research for dental implants I decided to go to FMS dental international hospital in Hyderabad. Dr Paul was the dental surgeon in charge of my case. He diagnosed me and was very precise in the treatment and the cost of it. Totally professional and also very caring I immediately get the feeling that I would be in excellent hands. I went with the treatment and indeed that was the case. I also had another medical case (non dental related) that needed attention and he also took care of that by taking me to the doctor. What more can I say, not only is Dr Paul a gifted surgeon, he is also a wonderful person. Thanks Dr Paul.
