My friend told me he came to Thailand (Yanhee) for top surgery for a total of 15,000 NZD, including flights. He put me in contact with Sally (Authentic Self Australia), who got me an appointment at Yanhee with Dr. Chokchai. I couldn’t afford it in New Zealand (24,000 NZD). So my Mom told me she’ll come with me to Bangkok, and in the end, it cost us 10,000 NZD less for flights, plus surgery, plus accommodation compared to New Zealand. Since coming to Yanhee, I have received so much good care, and even though there was a language barrier, I was treated with smiles and respect the whole time. My English interpreter, who was with me for all my consults and exams, was amazing. Mr. Win made me feel comfortable and was very nice. I highly recommend Yanhee and Bangkok.
I highly recommend Dr Chokchai at Yanhee Hospital. He did my surgery in Oct 2024 - arm lift, breast lift and tummy tuck and I am 100% satisfied. The surgery was completed in a very professional manner and the care I received from the surgeon and the staff at Yanhee was far superior to any hospital experiences I had in western hospitals. I am very pleased with the results from the surgery and it definitely improved my quality of life. Staff and facilities are highly professional, the hospital is clean and comfortable and it helped that staff spoke english well. I would definitely go back were I considering any more work to be done as I am that happy with the results achieved.
The hospital is amazing. Staff nurses, etc., are the best. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Really going to miss you all. So looking forward to my new journey.

What an amazing experience! By far, the best surgical experience I’ve had in any country. Every person I interacted with was so helpful and spoke flawless English. I felt supported and reassured every step of the way and felt confident going into surgery. Dr. Chokchai was so patient and answered all of my questions, and came in on his day off to check on me after the surgery. It’s a very early stage but I am already very happy with the results. One thing that I especially appreciated was how much communication there was. Every day, someone (a nurse or a patient coordinator) would tell me what to expect (schedule for meals, medications, checkups, cleaning, etc.) The recovery room was perfect and well-insulated so I could sleep during the day, and the view of the river was stunning. The hospital food was delicious and had many options for any dietary restrictions. The nurses were all incredibly kind, patient, helpful and sweet at every hour of the day. The quality and amount of chart and record keeping was immaculate; my blood pressure and vitals were taken very frequently so I felt confident that if I had started declining, it would have been caught right away. They checked my wrist label and asked me to confirm my name every time so there was no risk ever of getting mixed up with any other patient.
I had virtual consultations with 8 doctors in total in the US, Turkey, and Thailand. I decided to go with Dr. Chokchai at Yanhee for a few reasons. Sunny, my International Patient Coordinator, was extremely helpful and responsive over emails before my booking and gave a lot more information about what to expect for the procedure at Yanhee. Dr. Chokchai’s recommendation was the most conservative which made me feel like he was most considering my body type and desired outcome versus other doctors (outside of Thailand) who pushed for more drastic procedures. I originally was not too excited about flying two days each way to get to Yanhee from the middle of the US, but it absolutely was worth the trip and I’d recommend the same for anyone going abroad for a procedure. I’ve done medical tourism before but Yanhee was by far the best and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else.
As a bonus, it feels very common for people to come here for procedures, so there are well-stocked hotels literally next door for you to continue your recovery.
The staff in all areas of the hospital were very friendly and helpful. The Dr. explained the procedure very well and referred me to a blood specialist to make sure I was okay due to my blood diseases. The nurses have been excellent and looked after me very well. I had issues with my banking payment and the cashiers helped me to sort this out. The International Liaisons are so helpful with all my questions and found out all the information I needed. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend to others.
Thank you to Dr. Chokchai and all of the staff including nurses at Yanhee Hospital. You went above and beyond expectations to care for me and make sure I had the best hospital procedures and stay. I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for me.

Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. There were plenty of people who could translate my needs from English to Thai. Even then, almost everyone could understand what I wanted or needed. I also loved how my room had a small safe for my wallet and a locking drawer for other personal items. The food was amazing and I looked forward to every meal even if I couldn’t finish it.
My only negative comment is honestly not that big a problem, but it was mildly annoying, and that is the sheet that covers the mattress. It constantly came untucked, and I would have to fix it. However, it did get me moving more. Overall, I highly recommend Yanhee.
I am really pleased with the service I have had at Yanhee. All nurses, doctors, and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I am considering coming back for any future surgeries and will recommend Yanhee to all. Kind regards.
