My daughter was born In Unispital by c-section after 3 days of labor. As this was my first child, I followed the guidance of the staff. We tried almost everything to get my daughter out, but after being induced for more than two days with no pain relief I began to have fever and they said I had to have a cesarean. Due to the excessive physical stress, I then had no milk and over the course of the next months struggled to get minimal quantities. I did not feel that the staff made the right suggestions during the birth and they certainly did not tell me of the risks. The maternity ward also seemed to care less that my milk didn't come in. The best part of the experience was the day I left to go home.

My experience wasn’t never good and I gave it some opportunities because “maybe I just got the wrong doctor”… This is just a place where “doctors” experiment with people and don’t work in a solution or cure. The lack of empathy is over the top and it’s super expensive. Don’t expect you will get cured from anything in there. Looks more like a bank than a hospital.

Awful experience if you are a tourist with travel insurance, they will give a nasty look at the reception and ask you to paid at front Fr. 700. They will deny medical attention even if they are business partners with the travel insurance. Shame of you Switzerland!

Absolutely atrocious. I receive treatment for an immune disorder which causes various other symptoms. In most normal hospitals you can get referrals for specialists, but the assigned nurse and doctor absolutely refuse to help. Eventually they sent me to alternative medicine - instead of the specialist required. I asked for a change to the doctor I actually require but they told me to go through my local doctor instead. In all other countries, I'd see my doctor regularly and undergo exams. Here I didn't see my doctor in 2 years, and they told me "we can tell everything through bloodwork!". Now that's fine, but the one time I ask for actual help (referral to another specialist) and they refuse to help. I try to respect the hospital resources, and only request help when I know it's needed otherwise using my local healthcare. I've always had great relations and help in multiple other countries, but this hospital doesn't really provide any care. This hospital is ridiculously disorganized and bureaucratic. The staff are obviously under a lot of pressure and stress, unwilling or uncaring to help patients. The hospital is just a giant conveyor belt really for patients. Look around for a better medical center with competent staff which is not a giant revolving door mega hospital.

Horrible experience. The Staff was terrible. My husband had an accident where 20 kg fell down on his shoulder, he had terrible pain. We were waiting for 4 hours. When I asked if we can talk to the doctor, the best to tell me was that my husband’s situation is the last thing to look at right now, other people are dying. This shows no respect towards the patients. Unbelievable that this is the medical sector in Switzerland!!!

If only there was 0 point. Unbelievable to have such horrible service in Switzerland. Starting from taking 4h to make one x ray to the rude and incompetent personnel who make racist comments toward patients. Never again , if you can skip this hospital, do so. Half of personal is idle in rooms chit chatting and laughing while patients wait in pain and their excuse is that they are understaffed, even though at the time of my arrival there was nobody in the waiting room

It took more than 1 1/2 hours to get stitches on my bleeding finger. They said the were a lot of people and understaffed but I could not see a single other soul in the hospital. And looking from all other reviews it seems that understaffing is a problem for a very long time so how about doing something? It also took about an hour and a complaint until I got something to clean my bloody hands. And the first 30 minutes no one was there to check how bad the cut was in fact. Sorry but there really needs to be some improvement at this hospital.

Booked online COVID tests for 2 adults and 4 children on onedoc.ch. Patient birthdate required for every person being tested, no mention on age limit. Called the hotline to confirm it was the right place for us to go: parents with children with symptoms and they confirmed it over the phone. Drove 1h to the hospital to be told on site they do not test children. Reception tell me we were not there first ones to go through this issue, but "they are not IT, they cannot do anything". Result: 2 hours drive for nothing...

miserable service!!!! emergency staff(not doctor) inside the emergency room is tellin me a diagnosis of my illness without any proof(tellin me i am a junkie) which is just unprofessional, really just a provocation of the patient and without any proof. i have a very long illness over 20 years which wasnt taken serious at all. i will never go back in my life to this absolutely bad an miserable ER!!!!!! less than 1 star for this place!!!!!!!!!!!

The only reason I am giving this hospital a one star is because I must, to do this review. We had a very dear friend that was admitted to your hospital, to the oncology department for chemo treatment about three weeks ago. Our family and friends in Switzerland have known Mr Lukas Gasser for 30 years. He had left his car at my sister’s house telling her he would be back after his treatment. After a few weeks we did not hear from Lukas, so friends started calling the hospital. We were transferred to the Oncology department and informed that they couldn’t give out any information “Of this patient and to contact the family”. Since he came from a large family and was one of the youngest being 70 years of age, we didn’t know who to contact which made things difficult. When my sister arrived in Switzerland from Australia she wanted to visit Lukas, so she also rang the hospital and was met with the same response. Friends started calling the hospital becoming very concerned. At one stage were told not to call back and contact the family. I understand they cannot give out any personal details about the persons illness and that’s not what we were asking, we wanted to know if he was ok. It wasn’t until my brother in-law called the hospital to inform that he had Lukas’s car. They took my brother in-law’s number and he was called by a gentleman who informed that Lukas had passed away some weeks earlier. Obviously the next of kin were informed and could have contacted us if our number had been passed on at time with the funeral details, and we could have attended. Instead an executor contacted us regarding his car. I feel this was poorly handled. Obviously, the staff should be more compassionate considering the job they have chosen. I also know nursing is a hard job and are dealing with different issues. At the end of the day we loved Lukas and we had been ringing the hospital and he had already died and they knew this. The staff need to be spoken to and maybe re-trained in dealing with these issues.
