Professor Galperin's scientific interests include the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, liver diseases, cholelithiasis, fatty hepatosis, and diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract. He received a grant from the Schreiber Foundation for research on cholelithiasis. He is a laureate of the Bat-Sheva de Rothschild Prize for achievements in science and technology.
